Some of this both right and wrong. It thoroughly ignores perspectives by approaching it with religion.

Whose light? Whose scaredness? Whose belief in the soul? Each is grounded in religion.

You are saying only the religious that have had extreme problems in their life can understand.

Well I have been religious in a number of ways. And I have found, that religion has caused most of the problems of the whole world, throughout history. And it doesn't matter which organized religion.

Now ask why you can't relate to that? 🤷🏻‍♂

It would involve a dramatic change of perspectives. A whole different way of thinking.

That is how extreme the problems I went through with religion. Your abyss is is even based in greek mythos. I prefer to call it void because of that. It at least is used in non religious ways.

Yes I been in that ghastly void. And more than once. More like repeatedly over and over again. It's what it takes to change your own thinking. To see the whole from a totally different perspective.

The religious box seems oh so comforting. Until you finally understand that it's a box your in, that has multiple religious boxes.
