Don't know about demons, but I think it would be arrogant of us to believe that other civilizations don't exist in this vast universe.

The universe is big. Getting here is impossible.
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@GoldenWorm:

Wrong. Getting here is improbable.
So is winning the lottery. But it still happens.

@UnparalleledMonster: rare events happen. Traveling here does not. It takes light from the sun 8 minutes to get here. Go find the light years distance to the nearest star. Now even figure speeds that are darn fast like.1 light and figure out the time.

@GoldenWorm:

Awfully arrogant statement.
We couldn't do it, therefor NO ONE could EVER do it.

Nah. Unless you can offer some proof that it can't be done then it's still just improbable, not impossible.
GoldenWorm · 51-55, M
@UnparalleledMonster: supposing facts counter to reality is awfully arrogant. Proof is required for the positive claim - that they can get here.
MetalGreymon · 36-40, M
@GoldenWorm:

Absence of proof is not proof of absence.
The fact that there is no proof an alien could travel to earth is not proof that they could not.

And i'm not making a positive claim that they can get here.
I'm saying there's no grounds to declare it impossible.
All you or anyone else can say with any certainty is that it would be impossible for US.

So it's just improbable, not impossible.
Any categorical statement to the contrary is nothing more than arrogant intellectual dishonesty.

@UnparalleledMonster: or its understanding materials, distance, and time, and energy density.

I can also 'arogantly' say humans cannot fly unaided. -and and literal infinity of other bs

lol no. Terrible comparison. This is clearly going over your head for some reason.
We as humans know humans very well. What we can do and what we can't do.
So you can safely say that it is impossible for humans to fly unaided and that humans are not capable of interstellar travel.

Tell me, how familiar are you with alien technology?
They're understanding of physics?

Oh, not at all?
That's what i thought.
Then stop pretending What an alien species might be capable of.

Cliff notes: you're making an argument from ignorance, nothing more. We can't do it, therefore no one else could ever do it and it is therefor impossible.

Arrogance and ignorance. Just a really wonderful combo you have there.
I think we're done here.
GoldenWorm · 51-55, M
@UnparalleledMonster: last wonder, you assert and repeat and don't understand physics
