Have you been baptized?

What does Gods Word say about it?
What did Jesus say about it?
What did the Apostles say about it?

As stated above:
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ

Remember the thief on the cross was saved… with no baptism…

Key Belief: Salvation is a free gift received solely through faith in Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, not by works or rituals like baptism.

Role of Baptism: An important command and public symbol of inner conversion, obedience, and identification with Christ's death and resurrection, but not the cause of salvation.

Baptism with water is important but it does not save a soul from sin! Faith and faith alone brings the grace of God that is shed abroad in the hearts of all that belong to him.

As quoted in my original post:

“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

I believe:
This means a person is born once into this world and they are in a sack of water in the uterus. But… they also must be born again which is born of the spirit.

If they go down a sinner, they come up a wet sinner.

Baptism is a public sign to the world that is a symbol of the inner work of Christ…on the inside and as Christ died, we die to sin we are buried as him and as he rose again and lives, we live in the newness of spirit…

We are to most definitely be baptized as Jesus taught and John the Baptist! Jesus was baptized himself and he DIDN’T need to be saved.
He was the spotless lamb of God.

Receiving Jesus and a genuine heart conversion along with living in obedience to the commands of Jesus will definitely bring the Holy Ghost! Nothing will keep him out with clean hands and a pure heart!

John 14:15-31
King James Version

****15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
****16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

I’m positive many will disagree with me but I know him for myself. 🙂
@Unefilletrescurieuse When a man is in Christ, old things pass sway and all things become new. 😍
