Why do some continue to play guessing games with science when God has all the answers?

Why is their fear of hell so great that it drives them to trade the Truth of God with the lie of evolution?

Science gives testimony to God's work in the heavens and the earth. I know this to be true through His Holy Spirit of Truth and His Word. Jesus said, "Unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3
