Mahakumbh Mela (World's largest pilgrimage of Hindus) has began and Steve Jobs' wife is attending it.

It's once in every 144 years event. This event is happening at three holy rivers meeting point at Prayagraj, India. Maha Kumbh Mela is a symbol of the victory of Gods over demons. People are bathing at this meeting point for purification of their souls and expecting to get freed from cycle of rebirth.
In ancient scriptures of Hinduism, it's written that when the churning of cosmic ocean happened, nectar emerged from it and to keep it away from demons, 'Garuda' the eagle God flew the pot (Kumbh) of nectar away and when he was passing upon earth, few drops of nectar fell on four places on Earth. Prayagraj is one of the places on earth where drops of nectar fell and it became the holy place for Hindus. Usually small Kumbh Mela happens after every 12 years (when Jupiter completes its cycle around the sun).
Many Hindu religious scholars and Hindu monks across the globe are visiting this event. Also many foreigners are attending this event to seek the knowledge and blessings.

@NativePortlander1970 Knowledge is not something that excludes awareness. Upanishads (Ancient Hindu philosophical texts derived from Vedas) are calling such knowledge as Avidya (lack of awareness, lack of true knowledge). True knowledge is seeking the knowledge which includes realising self and ultimate reality.
Many modern scientists influenced by ancient Hindu texts, some of the famous scientists are as follows:-
1. Erwin Schrödinger
A Nobel Prize-winning physicist

2. Niels Bohr
A Nobel Peace Prize-winning physicist who contributed to quantum theory and atomic structure.

3. Nikola Tesla
Engineer, scientist, futurist, known for AC electrical supply system

4. Robert Oppenheimer
(Theoretical physicist)

5. Carl Sagan
(Astronomer and planetary scientist)

@NativePortlander1970 Ah, a philosopher of apathy! Your profound insight has truly elevated the conversation to new heights
@Unlearn As my Grandfather often paraphrased Socrates, the more we learn the less we actually know, the knowledge of this is the key to all wisdom.
