The Knowledge of His Will

Pastor Dean preaches about experiencing new wine, the new covenant, and how it all centers around obeying the Spirit of God. We need Christians to continually obey the Holy Spirit; going where He says to go, and doing what he says to do. The new covenant requires us to surrender everything we have to Jesus and leave our own will behind. Every person in the world is chasing something, what are you chasing?
"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you." John 16:7

The trouble is that so many claim to be guided by the spirit of "all truth" yet have different theologies. So many claim that their will is God's will, yet act in diverse and contradictory ways. Each claims "truth"; those looking on and seeing this therefore come to doubt ANY claim by ANY person who speaks of an "only way".

Sad really, given that their ARE certain theologies within the Christian Faith that avoid such nonsense - and such are from the earliest years of the Faith, proclaimed and taught by the earliest Church Fathers. Long, long before all this nonsense of "only ways" so beloved of so many.

My own opinion is that those who proclaim such in fact trust in their own belief and allegiances, and thus in effect have no faith in God's Grace at all.

Just my view. I'm certainly not going to enter into any argument about it - I have found such to be pointless.
