What will Armageddon be like?

@NerdyPotato There's a reason why the Almighty hasn't slammed the hammer down on this wicked world/Satan's wicked system of things yet.
Please read 2nd Peter 3:19, Romans 2:4, Habakkuk 2:3.

When that time comes to rid the earth of all bad things and terrible conditions it will not be late. It will be on time. It's just a matter on our part to exercise patience and endurance with God's help of his holy spirit. Taking in accurate Bible knowledge of God's will and purpose for us and the earth will give you a wonderful hope for the future and strengthen your resolve or give you the needed patience to wait for that highly eventful time to occur. And occur, it definitely will happen. However, it's very important to be SPIRITUALLY ready, focused, and prepared to survive Armageddon.

Seek out those approved by God, Jehovah, to share the wonderful hope of surviving Armageddon and being ushered into a new world, a new earthly society of peace, happiness, equal opportunity for all mankind on a beautiful paradise earth. (Matthew 24:14).

@seotelkniwt it's always about patience, isn't it? I'll patiently wait for God to prove he's worth worshipping then. 😌

@NerdyPotato You will never know unless you take in accurate knowledge from the Bible with qualified ones approved by God. Next time Jehovah's Witnesses knock on your door ask them to show you from the Bible, why God is worth waiting on patiently for Him to destroy this wicked system of things. You can always go to the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in your area.
Also, don't let ridicule or fear of people and what they think or say concerning you checking things out for yourself when it comes to getting information that could possibly save your life.

Don't let the negative comments concerning JWs discourage you. It takes courage to stand up and be your own man/woman when it comes to seeking out beneficial information

@seotelkniwt will they also show proof that the Bible is God's word to begin with? Because I can point out all kinds of things in Harry Potter too, but that doesn't make it true.

@NerdyPotato Absolutely, they will give you the needed proof that the Bible is truly God’s word. Give us a chance to show you. After all you have nothing to lose but a little time. Also, please check out our official Bible based website jw.org, homepage and type in any question that you want answered and a wealth of Bible baased information will be at your fingertips.

@seotelkniwt I did some searching and the main arguments are:
1) The Bible says it's God's word: self-declaration doesn't mean anything.
2) Prophesy fulfillment: all very general descriptions that were assigned meaning after the fact.
3) Internal Harmony: that isn't present in the Bible.
4) When people follow its directions, they become better people: sorry, mutilating and murdering others for the most trivial mistakes does not make one a good person in my opinion.

@NerdyPotato You still don't understand the full scope, meaning, and purpose behind such passages. Bring on the scriptures so that can give the correct understanding of your replies. Unless you understand God’s purpose and the theme of the whole Bible, you will continue to see what you want to see by formulating your own ideas.

@NerdyPotato There's legitimate reason behind every Bible verse. Learn to read the context and surrounding verses.

@seotelkniwt I'm quite familiar with tactics churches use to control their constituents and every verse fits into that perfectly. Just because it serves a purpose to church leaders doesn't mean it's the word of God though. And if people can see what they want to see, how does anyone know for sure how it was intended?

@NerdyPotato The big F word: Faith. It takes faith. It can be a little faith or lot of faith but that's what it will take to believe and appreciate the Bible.

@seotelkniwt ah yes... Anyone can know the Bible is God's word by ignoring everything speaking against that being the case and simply trusting the self-declaration.
