For those who are new and missed my daughter's miracle healing...
I don't know how much you know about anorexia, but it is a very cruel, debilitating, psychological disease, which behaves more like a physical disease...namely, cancer. In fact, this disease has the highest fatality rate of any psychiatric disorder.
Not one doctor could convince my daughter that she had a deadly disease, or even help her understand WHY she needed help. They told her she had one week to live. Though she was literally skin and bone now, with no muscles in her body at all, except her heart and brain, anorexia had completely taken her over mind and body and distorted the image she saw in the mirror. Here she was at only 80 lbs., age 39, waiting to die. She even had the songs picked out for her funeral. She just wanted it all to end.
Although the doctors said there was nothing more they could do, family and friends continued to pray for a miracle; that God would save her. We never gave up the faith.
THEN GOD STEPPED IN
Angela's organs were already shutting down. She was in ICU for 3 days and then in a hospital room for 6 more days. God heard our prayers and healed her instantly, even though the doctors said she was at the point of no return.
GOD CAN MAKE A WAY, WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY
Here she is today, at 128 lbs.!! Don't tell me there's no God. She is a living miracle. He came through, just in the nick of time! God changed her mind and answered all our prayers. I am forever grateful to the Lord and just had to share this, so I could give credit where credit is due and deserved, absolutely! Thank you God! Praise be to God!

I am happy she reversed her condition. It is painful to see someone wasting away like that. She looks healthy now. Was there anything different that she did before she reversed it?
I helped someone one time with anorexia, very underweight looked like a walking skeleton. Had gotten depressed after losing a job that he loved and lost his appetite. Asked me if there was anything I could think of to help him. I bought a high-quality men’s vitamin and mineral supplement with extra B-vitamins and gave it to him. Told him to take one a day until he gained as much as he wanted and then he could cut back to one every other day. He gained about 35 pounds in 5 months. Those vitamins stimulated his appetite to where he was getting proper nutrition and he worked on building back his muscles by lifting some weights.
@cherokeepatti Did you read her story? The doctor said she was at the point of no return. There's nothing she could do to help herself and she was planning for her funeral.
@cherokeepatti She didn't do anything to reverse her condition. The Lord stepped in and that's the only thing that saved her. I don't think people really understand the depth of this debilitating mental illness....only 4% recover. No amount of vitamins or anything else could help her. The doctors gave her one week to live! Even the doctors couldn't help her.
@LadyGrace Doctors don’t know everything do they? When I was asked to help I thought of B-vitamins and how they help with a healthy appetite. People with anorexia are also low on lithium (and all other minerals and vitamins) which is vital for balanced moods. Anorexics may have a skewed sense of appearance or feel that they are overweight even though they are starving. I read the story about Pat Boone’s daughter, Cherry Boone. She became anorexic and was exercising way too much and resisting eating. She said in the book she was low on lithium. It can raise the mood to feel like they have more energy where they will exercise etc causing more weight loss. They will resist eating food even small amounts thinking that they are still overweight. But taking a single vitamin-mineral supplement a day has no calories and some may not resist taking those. Apparently it worked quickly and effectively for this man.
No and neither do people who aren't doctors, but doctors are smart enough to know not to tell someone they will be dead in a week, if they're not, and they told her she was at the point of no return. Her kidneys were already shutting down and she begged the doctors to help her and they said I'm sorry but there's nothing more we can do. To discredit this miracle story after the Lord healed her instantly, I never thought I would hear from you. People just don't get healed instantly without the Lord's doing it. Especially when you are nothing but skin and bones, like she was, and dying. I'm giving credit where the credit is due, to the Lord. Believe as you wish.
@cherokeepatti My problem is that you didn't read the story or you would not have said that my daughter reversed it herself, which discredited the Lord. And then you said, after I told you how the doctor said there was nothing more they could do for her, "Doctors don’t know everything do they?" Sure sounds like you're dismissing her Miracle to me.
@LadyGrace Like I said the Lord works in mysterious ways, he can help us with doing different things which can heal. I didn’t discredit your story a bit. I wondered if she did some little thing differently. When my daughter had lupus and other autoimmune conditions as a young teen I’d bring her with me to the health food store. She’d browse around while I was shopping and choose one thing she wanted me to buy for her. I always said yes. And found out that whatever it was it was having health benefits helping her to heal. I don’t think it was her thoughts alone, someone was guiding her into choosing those random things to try. It wasn’t me telling her to get those things and I don’t believe she had read anything to make her choose them either, not near as much information about those conditions out there back then.
@cherokeepatti That's why I went into great detail in my story, to show that doctors had tried everything and certainly nothing else would have helped. My baby was dying, as you can see from the pictures. This was a very traumatic time for the family and that's why it hurts.
