Do you fear death?

If so... can I ask why you still fear death?

Family responsibilities?
Other people need you?
Unfinished business?
A general fear?

I don't fear death anymore. I don't know if that's a good numb feeling to have or a bad numb feeling.

The only thing I fear about death is leaving my son behind. I watched both my parents die, I just want it to be quick so my son doesn't suffer.

@SW-User I'm sorry about your parents. I lost mine at an early age (I consider 40-45 to be too early).

My son is an adult now. It's amazing how life changes when your parenting responsibilities are lifted.

@JovialMoose Definitely. I was in my mid 30's. Lost them a year apart.

Unfortunately we have no other family. So even after he's grown, I don't want to leave.

I don't blame you.
