We are all "one"

Whatever we think of, wherever we are, no matter our allegiances, at base we are all "one". Thinking of just the latest disasters - Morocco and Libya - or the various Religions and Creeds, even our various shades of colour. At base, first thought, fundamental assumption - we are all "one". Of infinite variety, but "one".

Once that thought is firmly in place, then we can perhaps see the beautiful diversification of humanity without negative judgements. We can also extend our mind/hearts to embrace all sentient beings.

As one joker once said:- You can divide the world into two kinds of people - those that divide the world into two kinds of people and those who don't.

And such will it always be. What comes to.one will come to all. "And all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well."

@LowBorn We are what we understand.

The alternatives.

Non -religious :- We are all individuals. We are born alone, we die alone. We try to make connections but ultimately it will never be enough.

Religious:- There are - definitively - believers and unbelievers. The lost and the saved. An eternal heaven and an eternal hell. And never the twain shall meet.
