Susan sounds a little jealous to me. If she knew what she was talking about, she would know that God does reveal His will to people and His Holy Spirit does give direction and guides lives, through His Word.

@LadyGrace If someone tells you God said to give them lots of money they are a fraud and swindler.

If someone says God told them you must hate and persecute others (gays, immigrants, Democrats, etc) they are frauds. Any religion that preaches hate is false.

That does not make them a liar either just because someone may not believe them. I don't think that's for anyone to judge. Why would they lie? God does speak to people. There are hundreds of examples in His Word. There's a lot of "maybes" in this world, but there's no way for us to know who's lying or not, so it's not up to us to judge people.
