Like everyone else, he wanted to be God.

Being in charge has heavy burdens

@MikefromEP: Or, trying to usurp God is not acceptable.
MikefromEP · 56-60, M
@LimpBiskit: Why? What good parent would tell their kid to follow without thinking?
BrakeIT · 56-60, M
@MikefromEP: That's the point, you don't get to make the rules. God does.

@LimpBiskit: So how do you explain Murder, pedophiles, abuse... list goes on. Do you scape goat everything that happens under Gods Divine Plan?.. or blame it on the perfect son that left the system?
BrakeIT · 56-60, M
@MikefromEP: Neither. No scape goat needed. Man sins. period. God doesn't cause it and didn't create it, man rebels against God and sins and we (man) get to reap the consequences. Explanation of murder, pedophiles, abuse, list goes on, and people who reject God, all = sin. You, me, everyone has the right to choose to sin or not.

@LimpBiskit: Everyone here has sinned. What we do after the fact changes things
BrakeIT · 56-60, M
Actually, yes, and no.
Everyone has sinned, from A to last. That's exactly true. And that's the crux of the matter.
Like the bible says "For all have sinned..."
What we do after the fact is agree that God is God and we aren't, and then obtain His solution. (After all, he's God and only God can define the solution to the problem.)
