Spiritual comes from the Greek pneuma (pneumonia/pneumatic) and means the interest and application of unseen influences. So, the word can mean breath, wind, breeze, compelled mental inclination (he was a mean spirited man) or other subtle unseen forces which produce results. Tradition, culture, sound, germs, religion etc.
The soul, according to the Bible is mortal. destructible. It is the life experience/blood of any breathing creature. The Hebrew word itself means literally "breather" the Greek means to blow.
God and the Bible are practical, not the world seen through some religious rose colored hippy glasses. Vague and mysterious.
