Does God love me

@SW-User We should have been telling this to people a long time ago....If you want to see this as a Christian, take a look at what your main man has to say. Jesus doesn't condemn it. It's all about Paul. He was the one who had issues with it. I wouldn't call myself a christian anymore, but I'm quite familiar. If there's a christian god, who you sleep with won't change that.

@originnone I totally agree with this 100% !! I wouldn't call myself a Christian anymore either TBH....I'm quite familiar too!! I had religion shoved down my throat as a young adult and I came to my senses. Everything I did in my life seemed to be a sin. It really screwed me up really bad.

@SW-User I think not believing has done more to harm me. I honestly wish I believed in something....I just don't.

@originnone I believe there is a higher power up there, but, I choose to believe in my own way!! AA helped me realize a higher power......but belief is how you perceive in my opinion!

@SW-User I'm a nihilist. I see no purpose or meaning in life and right now I can't believe in anything close to a loving god....higher power....maybe....Being a nihilist is a terrible thing. There. is such a thing as a positive nihilist who gladly makes their own principles. But I can't get there. Life has me too confined.....

@originnone I truly understand where you're coming from. Life has too many people confined.....I know I feel confined at times......maybe one day you will get to that positive nihilist that you want to be who makes their own principles. I have had those thoughts about life many many times myself. I wonder why do I keep going and for what purpose. But, then I look at my family and the people I love the most and I realize I have to be strong in heart, head and soul.....like I said you can talk to me anytime!! I understand more than you know!!

@SW-User Even the word Sin is a way to control you. The Chirch wants total control over you. When that control starts to slip away YOU have Sinned.

@Pitchblue One thing I know for sure is that the church will never control me again. I have not set foot in a church in years and don't plan on it anytime soon.

@SW-User These days the Church has become a tax free political base. The Religious leaders are more interested in power than religion.

@SW-User Without the Evangelicals the Republican Party would be dead in the water. Leading down the road of antiabortion, anti LGBTQ and even White Supremacy.
