Why is satan such a piece of shit ?
Not only did he disobey god but now he wants to destroy humanity ? Like what did we ever do to him ?

satan claimed to be equal to God satan believed he was justified in being a God and that was why he made his sabotage attempt on Gods creation.. He enticed the first humans by telling them they could be as God knowing good and evil.. His sabotage effort was successful but he did not realize God foreknew what satan was going to do and already had a plan to Redeem His creation.. By doing this God both demonstrated why He was justified in being the one and only God and why satan was not justified to be a God..
Actually i believe God created the universe as a stage where He could by demonstration prove to the heavenly hosts ( angels ) that satans claim was unjustified.. We humans play our parts and decide who we shall follow.. The Atonement God has provided to Redeem us is not open to the Angels and that's why satan like a devout islamic suicide bomber wants to take as many angels and human beings with him into the eternal lake of fire... It's all about rage and revenge against God... He knows God loves us..
