Belief Follows Truth: The Truth Of God Wins Out Every Time.

Regardless of what skeptics say, Yahweh lives forever and ever. These skeptics claim that Yahweh isn't real, yet, they fail to support that claim. They also claim that His Word isn't true, yet, fail to support that claim. The skeptics come face-to-face with the Truth of God and still reject it. Why? They also have to believe that God or man started man made organized religions in order for us to appease God. Why? Matthew 23 clearly state how God feels about made organized religions. It seems to me that their religion is chasing tail and never catching it. These 'tail chasers' keep losing at their own game every time. They seem to think that they can win their game by ridiculing, mocking, and insulting Yahweh and those of us who believe in Him. This is just vanity. You can't push the lies of men to become true, it's impossible to do. The Truth of God remains the truth and no man can ever change it.

Who is Yahweh? Is that a Yeti's wife?

@SW-User
Yahweh and Jehovah originally were two separate tribal god. Back in the day, there were a bunch of them. Jehovah was a mountain god, Yahweh was an air god. Which gave him the advantage of being invisible and being everywhere at once. Eventually they all merged into one god . Pretty standard mythology.
@DocSavage Not true, that theory is merely reading INTO what the ancient Hebrews believed, not what they ACTUALLY believed.

@SpiritualMan
What are you talking about ? The ancient Hebrews, just like any primitive civilization believed all kind of things, without actually understanding.
Just like the ancient Greeks, the ancient Egyptians, the ancient Incas, etc.
If you look into the history of any region, you’ll find all kinds of different gods and related fables. It just a matter of how far back the surviving myths go back. You go back, and you will find Yahweh was not the only “one true god” he even had a wife at one time Asherah, whom he stole from another god. Were you aware of that ?
@DocSavage If ancient Jews believed some of that, it was during periods of idolatry and disobedience to God, so that means nothing.

@SpiritualMan
The ancient Hebrews believed what they were raised to believed by the tribal elders. Why do you think there are so many different religions. Most of it was passed down by word of mouth. Many religions were completely erased . Others were forcibly suppressed by who ever conquered who.
History is against you. Your religion is merely the latest version. It’s not the original.
@DocSavage Religions that teach the worship of entities other than God exist because fallen angels taught people to worship them instead of God, that is the origin of paganism.
DocSavage · M
@SpiritualMan
You are aware of the fact that different regions worshipped different gods aren’t you ? And your “god” was unknown , and meaningless to people outside the Middle East.
You have in all backwards, the other religions existed centuries before your “god” showed up. All the myths you know from the Bible, descended from those older religions. Not the other way around. You’re the pagan.
@DocSavage I am aware of that. I am aware that those who worship entities that are lesser than God are committing idolatry. Other religions have similar myths because they got them from a common memory of earlier humanity, and thus the myths are true. Sometimes other peoples distorted them a little, but basically they are true.

@SpiritualMan
Or they were raised in another culture in which your god doesn’t exist. Don’t be so arrogant. You don’t have a monopoly on god. And other people have faith just as strong as yours.
@DocSavage God exists whether cultures recognize it or not. I do not apologize for that. I don't have a monopoly on God but some beliefs are correct and some are wrong. My own beliefs have evolved over the years hopefully from incorrect to correct. I used to believe In a probably soon coming Tribulation, and when signs it was coming died down, I always said ok 10-20 years from now. I now believe the 7 Year Tribulation happened in 70 AD and the 7 years around it. Historical events are consistent with Matthew 24 and parts of Revelation.

@SpiritualMan
The general belief is some kind of higher power, that created the universe.
That belief exist in pretty much every culture. However, no one can lay claim to who or what god is, or what his “truth” is.
Which, means there is no correct beliefs, or wrong beliefs. There is simply personal beliefs. You are not god’s spokesman anymore than I am. You believe you’re correct, but the fact is, you’re just as likely to be wrong.
@DocSavage Actually there are correct and incorrect beliefs. Most people have a mix of correct and incorrect beliefs, some people are probably more right on some beliefs than others, but I would say most people have a mix, including myself. Actually the pagan gods were not the higher power that created the universe, they were gods lower "g" with finite power, in reality heavenly being that themselves were created by God. Some rebelled against God and some remained faithful.
DocSavage · M
@SpiritualMan
The gods were products of whichever culture made them. Some were all powerful, some served a specific function. All however have never been shown to actually exist. Including Yahweh and Jehovah. And no god can actually claim the title as the “one True God”
As I said before, it’s just the mythology of the culture. There is no evidence that a god does exist, or even could exist.
@DocSavage Actually GOD isn't beholden to what mere mortals say about Him, HE does not depend on what people invent about Him. Our VERY EXISTENCE depends on Him, not the other way around.

@Sharon I don't care about your meme, what I said stands. What I said is objective truth. You are using a strawman argument where you imply I think everything I believe is perfect and things others believe are wrong. I do not believe that. I believe that I likely have imperfect beliefs that will be refined and corrected as I keep growing spiritually. I also believe that those in other religions have some correct beliefs.

However I believe that GOD is the THE TRUE GOD. I DO NOT APOLOGIZE IF THAT OFFENDS PEOPLE. GET OVER IT! REPENT! IS MY ONLY ANSWER TO THOSE THAT ARE OFFENDED!

I do believe there are other gods, small g. Elohim in Hebrew means God and also ALL spirit beings in the spiritual realm, while Yahweh means GOD ONLY.

Read Psalm 82:

Psalm 82

1God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

God tells the fallen gods they will "die like men". That means they are NOT men, they are spirit beings and he is addressing ones in this psalm that have rebelled, so their judgment is that they will "die like men".

GOD is also mocking them, they know and understand nothing, and walk in darkness. Spiritual beings, especially the ones being addressed here have vast knowledge and powers, they are principalities and powers, but God is mocking them that because they rebelled, all their vast knowledge and power is useless and counts as nothing.

What do Bible verses mean to people who never saw a bible ?
The world is a big place, there are other books.

@SpiritualMan
I don't care about your meme,
I don't care about your litttle book of myths and superstitions. What you call "objective truth" is really just your subjective belief.
@Sharon I may not interpret everything perfectly but God is real.
DocSavage · M
@SpiritualMan
It’s god’s identity that is the question here. You and Godspeed63 seem to think Yahweh is the only true god, and the others are false, or lesser gods in his service. Many will disagree with that.

That's typical christian arrogance at work.
@Sharon Truth is truth and it doesn't matter if you INTERPRET it as arrogance.
DocSavage · M
@SpiritualMan
And the truth is, you can’t really know , regardless of your faith.

@SpiritualMan Lies are lies, even if you do try to pass them off as the truth.
