@fellowchristian: The only place in the bible where Jesus HIMSELF actually describes a Christian, and it appears I don't fit the description. I guess I'm a 'Christ fan'. I love what He has to say, and I believe He existed.

@fellowchristian: I haven't ruled out the possibility of one of the world religions actually being the truth, but I have a real hard time with Abrahamic religions. Jesus said, "By their fruits you will know them." In Matthew 7, Jesus explains figuratively that bad stuff can't come from something good, but most of what has come from Abrahamic religions is unthinkable pain and suffering. Yes, hospitals, schools, gardens, wells, clothes, and education has come to those in need, and that is a good thing, but how does a good tree produce so much bad fruit? Everyday, those of us who are plugged into the world get our noses rubbed in the atrocities committed because of Abrahamic religions. Christians are getting the short end of the stick right now, but they took their turn on the atrocity wheel too.
