what does salt mean spiritually?

Found salt on top of my work desk at home. It wasn't me and I kept asking if my gf threw salt on my work desk. It might be for some weird spiritual shit. And she told me no that wasn't her. Kept asking her about it, to the point I low key annoyed her. We are the only ones in my place but this happened a few times already. where salt just appear randomly at my work desk. I know I live by the ocean but still it's weird af. In the amount that keeps appearing around the same place.

depends on the religion I suspect

in the Bible I think it means a necessary ingredient to the diet and a preservative. sacrifices on the altar required salt. Jesus refered to this disciples as the salt of the eart - meaning they have a preserving influence on others.

I'm suspecting some voodoo hoodoo though

then again, somebody might be salting their fries (on the night shift) and they have parkinson's
