Satan comes as an angel of light. I have to say that Trump is obviously not a christian since he isn't loving. Jesus says Christians will be known by our fruits. What are our fruits? Love patience, gentleness, longsuffering, self control! Anyone who is not loving is not a christian, it's that simple to me. I believe Trump is capable of murder, and he is infact a murderer it is clear from the hearings!

@Carazaa bare in mind that Trump did away with the law that LBJ had placed on churches and pastors that prohibited them from addressing political agenda under loss of tax exemption. The Democratic party has tried for years to get rid of the church. The first thing they did under the covid scamdemic was close down churches as unnecessary. You know that church is necessary. The Dems are furious about roe vs Wade which was based on a lie to start with. Yet the Bible, God's Word says though shalt not kill. Abortion is not love but murder of what God created.

I am going by the things you post I think you love God and I think you try to please him. That having been said I pray that you and the Holy Spirit do some deep soul searching. You were probably raised in a Democrat family as were a lot of us. But the Democratic party has changed and have abandoned Almighty God. As a God fearing person you really cannot continue to support their anti God practices and positions. This is a spiritual warfare we are involved in.
Both parties leave things to be desired but one of the democrats greatest presidents ideology would now be a republican. That was JFK who paralleled Ronald Reagan. Please have a talk with God about your political views and see if they line up with him. Keep the faith.

Most churches now are not following Jesus. I stopped being a member a long time ago I just read my Bible daily. A pastor should never discuss politics in the pulpit, but preach Jesus crucified, and ask people in the congregation to repent and trust in Jesus who shed his blood for us so they would go to heaven.

Our job as christians is to love the world to Jesus.

If they are sinners It doesn't matter what sin they are doing, they will go to hell. My job is to love them so they will see Jesus in me and repent and follow Jesus to heaven for eternity. This life is short. They can die tomorrow in a car accident or a stroke. Where are they after that in eternity?

@Carazaa again I agree with you in general but the Bible says that we are the salt of the earth and that we are not to lose our saltines. We are supposed to oppose that which is wrong. That includes pastors calling out the sins of the nation.

@Carazaa I have no reason to doubt that. I think that in your heart you try to please God. And I really believe when we get to heaven I will meet you. But we are also to take a stand against sin. Yes in a loving way.
I was asked by a friend of mine to go to protest outside of an abortion clinic. I told him no and he asked why. My reply was that I was a soldier and that my training was to destroy the problem. My solution to and abortion clinic is an F4 and 750# bombs. But that isn't what Jesus would do. However Jesus did call out sin.

@Carazaa Recovering from a shooting at a gay bar in Oslo. Two dead, 21 injured.

The police have advised a lot of Pride events to postpone because they are worried about possible copycat attacks.

Otherwise it's doing fine as far as I know; I've been in the UK visiting family for most of the last two months.

@ninalanyon oh I was told they don't have mass shootings in other countries. Speedy recovery.

@Baremine It's not that other countries don't have them it's that they are much rarer and more often have a political or religious motive.

@ninalanyon I am just commenting about stupid gun laws that don't work.. criminals have a large supply of guns, none legally obtained. Again wish you a speedy recovery.

This shooting might be a terror attack though. There has now been about 2 mass shootings in Norway in the last 50 years, compare tor 2 a day in the USA. Why? Because the US don't care about kids freedom to feel safe as much as the freedom to do what they want.
