Spirit and Spirituality

The Biblical words for spirit (Hebrew ruach / Greek pneuma) both mean unseen active force from root words that mean breath or blow. For example, depending on context they can be translated as wind, breath, mental inclination. Mean spirited. So spirituality, as I understand it, is the examination of influences unseen. Traditional, cultural, social, natural and supernatural. Pretty much everything.

What does spirituality mean to you?

Actually nothing to do with any religion. The two IMO can be and are different.

Many actually do believe in ghosts with no religious context.

Another example is spirituality in the tibetan monk sense which is separate from the hindu Yogi sense. Where body and mind are two different things.

Then there's the other pagan senses, which I won't go into! 馃檭馃槇馃榿

There are far too many. Native American Indians have their own "spirituality" which is not a "religion" per say.
