Thankfully not, though i have experienced something like psychosis as a result of drugs. Took some LSD when i was 19. That was basically being schizophrenic. I remember one of my friends told me it was essentially paying someone to go insane. Yeeeeeeeep.

Thought demons were after me and people could read my mind or had other super powers or that I was in a coma or I was actually dead. All kinds of crazy shit. That persisted beyond the trip, too. I was like that for a couple months. Worst thing imaginable, but i didn't even have hallucinations or hear voices or anything, either. Just delusions. I have much sympathy for schizophrenics, now. 馃様馃様馃様

@Luzcolours: Shouldn't it be humans not angels that are sacrificed to page Gods?

@Luzcolours: ahh, I see. :( How often do you believe this? Do you come in out of the delusion or do uou always believe it to be true?

@Luzcolours: I would typically agree with you. Psychiatry is motivated by money, like any other business. They do go to great lengths to convince a wide variety of people that they are "mentally ill". However, I think it's different with schizophrenics. Schizophrenia is undeniably real, unlike "major depression" or "SAD" or bipolar.

But, you can also find videos online of people with schizophrenia saying they are much better on medication than off of it. Long video short, seroquel could be useful. I've been on it, too, just for sleep. It's not a bad medication.

@Luzcolours: Ah, well. I suppose it's just a matter of what is worse for you. Choosing the lesser evil. Your schizophrenia symptoms; or, taking a medication. For me, I could not stand hearing voices or having hallucinations and such, so if a medication existed that could spare me from that, I would really want to take it. Even if it made me something of a zombie or had other undesirable side effects. I suppose it is ultimately just your preference.

I only say so, because I feel like most people would want to get rid of their symptoms. Or at least mitigate them as much as possible.
