For me it is not a matter of believing what it says but interpreting it correctly. And yes I've tried but I guess it's not that important to me.

But "it" does not exist. No "One Bible." No single "Truth" in it. One, politically motivated people threw out some "holy" books that didn't align with their ends. Two, you can cherry pick what you want from the huge messy scrapbook to justify & prove anything from Socialist Utopia to racist genocide. Anyone can say "My view is God's true view!" Bull-dust.

@WattdeFalk: I think since some are not on the level you believe you are at. People can't just take you at your word. They have to find out for themselves. I can't say that because I think I know something that everyone should know what I think I know. What if I'm wrong. What if I'm right. I don't think it matters whether you have the "answers" or not. Why not just enjoy your life and let the answers come when they're supposed to to whoever they come to.

@Justpeaceandlove: I cannot understand what you're trying to say, though I tried.

@WattdeFalk: it cannot be explained to closed minded people.

@Justpeaceandlove: I think you're doing a variation on "edjicated snobs are mean cuz they don't give misinformation equal value to their book-larnin'." Is that what you mean, in a very soft-pedaled, indirect and overly wordy weird way?
