Uh-oh -- then there goes all that camels passing through eyes of needles, virgin birth, etc. stuff if you read it in the original without the mis0translations. BTW -- which version, Catholic, Protestant, Coptic, or one of the others?
Original sources have been translated correctly.
Talking about the very first original sources they found. If you can even tell for sure.

@Aliveshock: LOL Lots of debate about that, but yes they've been extensively up-dated to correct older inaccuracies which, unfortunately, most people won;t accept as correct because it goes against what they were taught was the truth.
@ChipmunkErnie: The originals have been proven to be correct. The virgin birth is the only way the Messiah would have been born or his blood would have not been life and valid as the Authority of the New Testament.
@Aliveshock: How did they prove it? Source, please.

@Aliveshock: See, you;re ignorant of the actual translations, you're back to the mistranlastions from hundreds of years ago. Go read a book. Or talk to a Jesuit who;ll tell you the truth.
@ChipmunkErnie: Btw... when I looked into bible translations, I found out that Adam was not a human being, if you're reading the "originals". "adamah" is the word for "red soil". "adamah" is just a normal noun, but it's definitely not a name. But wait, "Elohim", which is plural (!) and means "the Gods" took something from adamah' side and made Chawwa, "life"... which turned into Eve somewhere along the way. Well shit, turns out the first human being was a woman according to original sources. :D

@LunaInvicta: Lots of early treanslations missed idioms of the original language. And as to Adam, I forget -- was he listed in both the creation stories in Genesis? First man and woman were created equal, then later on adam got created alone and even later from a rib.
@ChipmunkErnie: I would have to look it up myself. I've heard both version, but the one where the story is used as a "proof" that woman is inferior to man is the most popular version, at least where I live. :D
@LunaInvicta: adamah means from the earth killing all theories of extra terrestrials.
@ChipmunkErnie: You don't know the truth.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@Aliveshock: LOL You;re the perfect example of what I was talking about -- the "truth" will always be what you want to believe, not what is simple fact.
@ChipmunkErnie: The truth has authority.
Your truth has none

@Aliveshock: You wish you were a robot, don't you. All these nasty distractions from your tiny treadmill should disappear. Well, maybe your President Drumpf will have everyone with more original thoughts hauled off to the camps.
@WattdeFalk:.
You are proof that some people believe that it is never too late to join a thread!
WattdeFalk · 70-79, M
@Aliveshock: "proof?" please don't try using words you don't understand.
@WattdeFalk: It is obvious that you are of little use beyond annoyance.
WattdeFalk · 70-79, M
Annoyance made especially for you, Love. I was bored yesterday. You forgive me. You have to.
@WF: You are quite oblivious.
Pretend to give more orders; you do that well.
WattdeFalk · 70-79, M
Rubber and glue. And that wasn't an order, it was a fact, as people familiar with them can recognize. (I hope you're free enough to admit you're enjoying this volley!)
@WattdeFalk: As I said, you came very late in this thread. Imagine what you want.
WattdeFalk · 70-79, M
same day as everyone else, my dear. What has that to do with anything? what did you believe your last 4 words mean? Again you're extremely unclear.
