But this is the very thing some do, and teach, when trying to earn salvation or favor from what they call their "Higher Power". Then claim all are gods. If we are all gods, then what you are saying, is we don't need God Almighty. One thing we know. Death is imminent, and man cannot even find his way past the moon, let alone, find heaven. God is the only one who knows what lies beyond death, and He said we cannot earn our way to heaven; that He alone, sets the standard for salvation; not man. However, if one doesn't believe in God, and makes fun of "the illusion of a fictitious God in the sky" they can certainly dismiss and ignore that and take the chance their soul will live happily ever after.
