Do you believe in reincarnation?

@HakunaMatata Hindus say that. They believe in an unchanging eternal soul.

@Entwistle Hindus, Judaism, Taoism, Zen, Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism...ancient Egyptians, Greeks...they all believe in the concept of reincarnation.
Two my knowledge only Christianity and Islam don't.

@Entwistle btw most eastern philosophies believe that Conciousness is a part of the Universal Conciousness. The final journey of the soul is to merge with the Universal Conciousness. So it's not eternal per se.
Also the soul is continuously evolving with every rebirth or reincarnation..

@HakunaMatata Buddhism doesn't teach reincarnation. It teaches rebirth..a totally different concept. Also consciousness is like all other things it comes about through dependent origination. It's dependently originated. Not inherently existant.
