Have you personally seen talking snakes or talking donkeys? Have you been able to verify stories of men living in fish for 3 days. Just asking. Let's start there and see where your level of evidence lies.

It may have been an ancient submarine... Or a craft from another world....

@masterofyou: Speculation does not count as evidence. The OP still hasn't responded to the question. I'm waiting with baited breath.

There are many things in this world or outside of it, than cannot be explained by science. So there.
ddt33356-60, M
@Zonuss: You haven't answered the question with anything even remotely considered to be credible, testable and repeatable evidence. Every religion on this planet practically has stories of fantastical things. Do you believe Mohammed flew on a winged horse to heaven? Do you believe the angel Moroni visited Joseph Smith? I can go on and on with these religious stories and also dig up some from Egyptian, Greek and Roman mythology to boot. Somebody can say "I believe there is an invisible teapot floating around Jupiter right now and it's undetectable by science" Should I now believe in the teapot idea?

The fact of the matter is that the scientific method is the best way that humans have devised to determine reality. It is imperfect but it sure beats faith and saying things like "well it can't be explained by science." Should I now believe in invisible 7 headed monsters made from spaghetti existing in an invisible universe because they can't be explained by science??? The stupid Catholic idea that some piece of bread magically turns into the body of some dead savior named Jesus is another example. Well it can't be explained by science you would say.

@ddt333: It is funny that you would say that because science came about from judeo-christian thinking. The man who created the scientific method was a Believer in Our Lord Jesus Chriat and the most brilliant minds in science. Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein both believed there was a God. So to imply that believing in the Bible accounts or the supernatural is unscientific is what is unscientific
Firechidist26-30, F
I havent seen a talking snake or talking donkey or hear accounts of people being stuck im a fish for three days or seen Jesus Christ raise from the dead but I do not need to, to believe and KNOW the Bible is the Word of God.

@Firechidist: Science has not found any existence beyond the supernatural realm. When it does it will be big news. In the mean time, we have a ton of supernatural claims made by people all over the world in different time periods. They conflict each other and make claims that are directly opposite of other supernatural claims. That is an undeniable fact. You would think that a personal creator God as some believe in would clear all this confusion up. I have always said that if a personal God exists, it is doing a piss poor job of uniting the planet on supernatural ideas. We have the Bible, the Quran and other so called holy books from this so called personal God with different claims. Even if you don't believe in a personal God, then a creator God would have it'a own problems to explain. Another side note, is that just because some humans considered intelligent have believed in some idea, doesn't give it credence automatically either. Newton had some batshit crazy ideas about things that science later showed to be just that...unsubstantiated bullcrap.

@Firechidist: You sound like any garden variety Christian, Mormon, Jew, Muslim or Hindu. You just utter the words " I do not need any evidence of other claims from other people, so I stick to what I believe in which is that the Jewish, Mormon and Hindu beliefs are true. I have my personal life experiences and beliefs to back this up and this mean the Jewish, Hindu and Mormon beliefs are TRUE."

Hate to break this to you, but you are just like any other believer on this planet who swears up and down that their particular beliefs on the supernatural realm are correct and true.
Firechidist26-30, F
I am not what you say I am and I really dont care what you think because what you think is your opinion based on experience and preconceptions not reality. If you believe in evidence show evidence.Otherwise you are no better than those who believe by faith.

What evidence do you have to say God does not exist?

What evidence do you have to say the Bible/Holy Scriptures is not Inspired by God?
ddt33356-60, M
@Firechidist: What evidence do you have to say that unicorns don't exist? What evidence do you have to say that 2 foot elves living invisibly don't exist? What evidence do you have that the Quran is not the word of some God? What evidence do you have that the Book of Mormon does not contain the words of the creator of the universe?
Firechidist26-30, F
@ddt333: So you have zero evidence as regards to the non-existance of God and the authincity of the Bible. I thought so. You are no different to those who believe by faith.
