Yeah I read the Evil Bible which is about the best website I have visited in a long time. This has helped me get a good insight into the biggest hoax on earth.

Ive been on the evil bible and read its articles. Its a joke. Everything in the Bible is taken out of context. All he does is mock everything not make objective points

@Firechidist: May I know where on earth this God was 2200 years ago and what happened to all those souls who lived before that time please.
Firechidist · 26-30, F
Why you asking me? Since you believe in evilbible so much?
wickey · 70-79, M
@Firechidist: Even Evilbible does not know, I was wondering if you knew by any chance.

Every dead soul is In the grave. They are in a sleep until Jesus returns and the day of judgement. They are neither in heaven or hell. Ecclesiastes. But God Himself is eternal. He has always has been and will always be. Nothing escapes His notice.
@wickey: The bible says that Christ ministered to the dead in hell during the three days before His resurrection...('Although He told the thief to his right that he would be with him in paradise that very day. which raises more questions)

@Firechidist: Since nothing escapes his notice I hope he does something quick about these babies that are born deaf, blind, dumb, lame and also all those mentally retarded poor souls. Sorry for all the trouble if any.
@Firechidist: Thank you. That is the best explanation of Ecc 9 that I've heard so far...Although Solomon uses the present tense when he is preaching that particular sermon.

@puck61: show me the verses that say that?

@puck61: INRI can only be relevant to Israel and not to the other inhabitants of the world. So many other shortcomings like where moses drops the ten commandments when he sees that his followers have made a god of gold and it breaks is about the limit. I see the bible only as the history of Israel and nothing more.
@Firechidist: So I reflected on all this and concluded that the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God’s hands, but no one knows whether love or hate awaits them. 2 All share a common destiny—the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad,[a] the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not.

As it is with the good,
so with the sinful;
as it is with those who take oaths,
so with those who are afraid to take them.
3 This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of people, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead. 4 Anyone who is among the living has hope[b]—even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!

5 For the living know that they will die,
but the dead know nothing;
they have no further reward,
and even their name is forgotten.
6 Their love, their hate
and their jealousy have long since vanished;
never again will they have a part
in anything that happens under the sun.
7 Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do. 8 Always be clothed in white, and always anoint your head with oil. 9 Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under the sun—all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun. 10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.

11 I have seen something else under the sun:

The race is not to the swift
or the battle to the strong,
nor does food come to the wise
or wealth to the brilliant
or favor to the learned;
but time and chance happen to them all.
12 Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come:

As fish are caught in a cruel net,
or birds are taken in a snare,
so people are trapped by evil times
that fall unexpectedly upon them.

@wickey: Yes He does notice. That is why He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Because He knew we could not be saved or healed apart from him. Do you not know that Jesus cleansed the lepers? Healed the blind the lame the sick the dumb the deaf mentally affected? And He still does today through the power of His name. But you need to believe in Him.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are HEALED. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

@wickey: In the same ball park, Revelation was a surreal figurative description of the Roman Empire's persecution, subjugation and eventual compromise of the Church.
Firechidist · 26-30, F
@wickey:sorry explain INRI?
@Firechidist: Isaiah and Psalms strengthened my faith because of the detailed accuracy of the life and death of Christ written so many years before Christ was born. Unfortunately my 'shield of faith' is made out of rice paper. Too much science and history in my head. Also, the similarities between Genesis and the earlier Sumerian and Egyptian accounts...At the end of the day, if any of the Abrahamic religions stands, I hope it is the Christians. (Reformed Jews) whose circumcision is of the heart.

@puck61: Wheres the verses that say, ''Christ ministered to the dead in hell during the three days before His resurrection...('Although He told the thief to his right that he would be with him in paradise '
Firechidist · 26-30, F
@puck61: Revealations is mainly a prophecy book detailing the events of the end times
@Firechidist: Yes. I'm pretty familiar with eschatology. There are a lot of clues that point to the fact that Revelation has already happened, only not exactly the way it was described by John's dream.

@Firechidist: Thanks.

@Firechidist: Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews. The four letters at the top of the cross. I am just wondering why they called him King and not The son of God?
wickey · 70-79, M
@puck61: Thanks.
@Firechidist: 1st Peter 4:4-6......1st Peter 3:19........The conflict between the ideas that Christ preached to the dead in Hades, and the words he said to the thief on the cross, has been going on quite some time, many believers simply sweep those who died before Christ's victory over death, under the rug and go with what He told the thief.
