Science Still Points To A Young Earth

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPQNhMVSMy0]

Evolution scientists must rely on the earth being billions of years old in spite of the fact that the earth is only thousands of years old. Otherwise, their belief in evolution would fall apart.

It may be that earth underwent destruction and was recreated ~6000 years ago then. One has to believe that evolution exists, otherwise we would have been born with a tail :) Also we can't nullify the archeological evidences that support the existence of earth millions of years back.

If that were true, I'd expect to see some evidence of it. As far as I am aware, there is none.

@Sharon True. I am not sure about evidence either. It is just a possibility as the post author was emphasizing on new earth. I am just trying to relate it to some of the ancient recordings. But they are no scientific evidences. I think no one knows for sure.

@SW-User The idea of a 6000 year old Earth comes from adding together the ages of various character in the bible. Take a look at the OP's profile and posting history, you'll find he's a proselytizing christian. He posts claims like this all the time but never offers any real evidence to support them.

Your name got me thinking about Hinduism. I worked for a Hindu several years ago and learned a bit about their beliefs. A lot seems to be in line with modern science - the idea of creation/preservation/destruction (Brahma/Vishnu/Shiva) being essentially the same. Also the idea of an oscillating universe, "big bang" followed by a "big crunch" then another "big bang".

@Sharon You are right Sharon. I am a Hindu. Yes, we do believe in the Trinity concept (creation/preservation/destruction). Different people believe as per their biased. It would be great if science can make substantial discoveries and bridge all the theories.

@SW-User Hi Vishnu,you believe things are created,stay for a while and then are destroyed?
SW-User
@Entwistle Yes Entwistle. I believe, however I may be biased by my traditional upbringing.
