Do you absolve yourself of all your sins?

Or is that someone else's role?

you admit it, don't hide it,
then you never do it again,

if you do it again
you don't care

@Ingwe I don't think it's as simple as " you don't care" surely the act of acknowledgement that you wronged shows you care

@Coisty if you repeat the sin you didn't learn and you were not serious when you promised not to do it again

@Ingwe you seem to be speaking of a specific sin. I am thinking and asking more generically.

I have committed the same "sin" a few times it does not mean I didn't care nor understand the consequence

@Ingwe People are mere humans they can regret sins but because they are humans they will eventually do it again and again they will regret their sin again..

If people could stop sinning then you would see perfect people walking around earth.. But you don't see that.. Because, people are people..

@Adstar nobody is perfect

@Ingwe I agree. It seems many want to keep doing what they want and then repent (forgive from themselves and ask forgiveness from the higher power) and all is well. It doesn’t work that way. And you’re absolutely correct!
