@Mistakesmakeus He does not dictate your acceptance or rejection of His offer of Atonement and Redemption..

Knowing what someone will do does not mean you have forced them to make that decision..
@Mistakesmakeus Just the opposite. He gave you a brain so you could always make your own decisions. Blaming God won't do, since you are responsible for your own decisions and actions.

You are not understanding how salvation works. God did not leave us guessing. He told us exactly how to go to heaven. Forever. He left that choice up to you, each of us, but some people don't know that.

If people go to hell, they've gone there by choice. The thing to understand, is that without the forgiveness of our sins, we'd drag our sins into heaven. That cannot be allowed, because heaven is a pure and holy place. If everyone dragged their sins into heaven, it would no longer be heaven. God wants all people there in heaven with him. Common sense. If he didn't, he wouldn't have died a horrible death to save us, only to turn people away into hell. He never does that. The important part to remember is that God never hates or condemns us. Our own sins condemn, because if we do NOTHING about our sinful nature, those same sins, shall CONTINUE to keep us separated from God.

If we want to live with Jesus eternally in heaven, it's very simple. Nothing hard about it. However, it's not wise to fake it. God knows our hearts, and if we are sincere or lying for gain. He won't be mocked. Jesus said he'll turn NO ONE AWAY, who sincerely wants to come to him, so he can erase their sins, through His saving grace and forgiveness. Then they're spiritually fit for heaven. So what if they don't? Is that God's fault? No way...it was the individual that made that choice, not God. He's not willing that ANY miss heaven. But one thing he won't do, and that's make that choice FOR you.

Think how many people hate God, curse him, mock him, laugh at him, then wonder why they missed heaven. It's NOT because of all those things! It's because they've told Jesus, they want nothing to do with his salvation. So...he honors their decision in this matter, though they've made a terrible choice. Would you want to beg someone to love you? Neither does God. He's not a bully, as some foolishly conclude. He WANTS us in heaven, but some refuse his offer to save them, so well...sad, but true. It breaks his heart.

What is your answer, if you don't mind me asking?
@GodSpeed63 shit idk but God knows because he knows everything, on top of that he knows that I'm goung to hell or heaven ever since I was born! Your fates are sealed people
@Mistakesmakeus yes that's what the devil would want us to believe, that our Fates are sealed. He's just mad because his fate is sealed and it was by his own choice.

It's God's desire that you don't go to hell and, no, our fates are not sealed. God provided salvation through Jesus Christ and whoever believes on Him will not perish but have everlasting life. This is God's promise to those who believe.
@GodSpeed63 isn't God omnipotent? Which means he knows literally everything which means he knows what we all think and he knows where we're going anyway. Its like having the ability to forsee the future on every living being
@Mistakesmakeus God knows all things, because he IS God.

From my perspective, I am not free to decide what to do yesterday. I know what I did, but cannot change it.

From my perspective, I am free to decide what to do today. I do not know what I will do, but am free to decide.

From God's perspective, I am free to decide what to do today. He knows what I will do, but I am still free to decide.

So, the answer to your question is that, though God knows what we will choose, we haven't chosen it yet, and we are free to choose whatever we want. His will is that we each choose to invite him into our hearts and lives as out Lord and Savior, and live eternally in heaven.
@LadyGrace which means he knows where you're going anyway
@Mistakesmakeus Yes, because God knows everything, but just because he knows the outcome, doesn't mean he fixes the outcome. He didn't make us robots with no feelings. He gave us choice. His will is that we each choose to invite him into our hearts and lives as our Lord and Savior, and live eternally in heaven. That just means His being God, he naturally knows what we've chosen ahead of time. But he will not make that choice for us.
@Mistakesmakeus Hello! Here's the broader picture of why God doesn't send people to hell.

God didn't, and doesn't send people to hell, Let me explain why. Please read this and think about it carefully: Feel free to ask me if you have any other questions.

Many today think God sends people to hell, but that doesn't add up, that Jesus would die such a horrible death... his hands and feet nailed to a cross, then lifted to hang suspended between heaven and earth...no clothes on, mind you!.... absolutely hated, though he did no wrong... in front of a huge crowd of at least 500 people, with them laughing, spitting, cursing, and mocking him!]; that though he was despised and beaten to a bloodying pulp, he STILL thought we were worth dying for, and hung there for SIX excruciatingly painful hours, till his death....JUST so he could throw people in hell??? He could have done THAT, without all that torment and suffering.

If only you knew how much Jesus loves you. He didn't just say it, He proved it, on the cross. Had He NOT done that, ALL would have definitely ended up in hell. Why? Because it's not Jesus, that EVER condemns us to hell. Nor His Father in Heaven. Don't you see? God provided us an escape plan, FROM THE CONSEQUENCES SIN BRINGS ON US. NOT GOD!

Without the blood of Jesus, there IS NO REDEMPTION OF SINS. He told us that in His Word. We're not listening to Him. It took a pure and sinless substitutial sacrifice to pay for our sins.

That's why we can't save ourselves. We can't even step foot in Holy Heaven or it wouldn't be heaven. How do we think, we can drag our sins into heaven?!! God the Father, cannot even LOOK uoon sin, let alone let it through the gates of heaven, as God is totally pure and holy.

It's not that God WON'T let people in Heaven....He can't let anyone or any-thing sinful, defile His Holy Temple in His Heavenly Kingdom.

This is when Jesus, God's son, stepped in and volunteered to be Mediator between God and man [thus the cross, death, then resurrection, where Jesus went back to His heavenly home and Father]. SO... any who would like to have their sins forgiven, can pray to Jesus and He promises to save them from the condemnation SIN brought on them, through His Father's PARDON and forgiveness.

Jesus is EAGER to save us. He literally DIED to save us! The second someone comes to him and invites him into their heart and life as Savior, what does he do? He goes straight to His Father in Heaven and pleads forgiveness on our behalf and then we are forgiven and declared, "NOT GUILTY!!", as if we'd never sinned in our life! Is that cool, or what!! NOW...we're fit for heaven!

Won't we sin again?!! Of course. However, we won't lose our salvation, but ONLY BECAUSE of GOD'S SAVING, EVERLASTING GRACE!! Not because of works or anything WE HAVE DONE. We are saved STRICTLY by God's grace, THROUGH FAITH!

Though what JESUS did on the cross was not simple by ANY MEANS... what this means when we say we are saved by grace through faith, is that we heard the good news of salvation, we took Jesus at his word, (that's faith), and trusted him to save us and forgive us of our sins. Meaning...We gave him permission to come into our hearts and lives, so he could save us. Simple!

And that's why that exchange is referred to as being "born-again". You start a brand new life in Christ, as your loving Savior. This is also sometimes called "the New Birth". Here's why.

FIRST, you had a natural "fleshly" birth from your mom; NOW, you've been "Born Again", only THIS TIME, it is a spiritual birth, since you've asked Jesus to save your soul, and he did, As proof of our new relationship with God, God sends HIS HOLY SPIRIT to come and dwell in you and abide with you for guidance, etc., and has created in you a CLEAN HEART and SPIRIT... and you've also inherited a place in heaven, as a child of God...from your new "spiritual birth!" You have God's Holy Spirit, dwelling in you now. And Jesus is not a liar. He is without sin and incapable of lying. He said, "In my Father's house, are many mansions! If it were not so, I would have told you, but I go to prepare a place for you in heaven...WHY?.... so that where I am, you may be also!"

Now I ask you...does that sound like a God who's out to "get" anyone and throw them in hell? Hardly!!

Remember, there's always two sides to a story and don't believe everything you hear. Check it out for yourself. But what I just told you, is in God's Word, which backs it up. If not, I'd be a liar... and I don't lie. But Satan tells people lies all the time about God, and they believe him. Huge mistake. You know why?

Remember I told you that God never condemns people, but SIN does? Here's the kicker! If we do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about our sinful nature separating us from God, Satan knows our sins KEEP US SEPARATED FROM GOD....UNTIL our sins are forgiven, and he doesn't want that! He's mad at God, so he only wants people in hell with him. But that's their choice. But let me tell you.... nobody else is going to love you, as much as Jesus, because nobody could take that kind of suffering that Jesus took for us. And there was not one complaint out of his mouth. That's love personified. That's how much He truly loves you. He gave His OWN life...so He could rescue yours.

@LadyGrace so if there's no sin in heaven technically wouldn't that make us completely soulless? Free will would be meaningless if our only objective is to not sin.
@Mistakesmakeus Honey, I know what I sent is long, but if you've got time, read it all, so you can get a better picture of how spiritual things work.

No. Because our Spirit never dies. Our body does, and goes to the grave, but the minute our body dies, our eternal spirit leaves our body, to either go to heaven or hell, depending on whether or not we've had our sins forgiven, so we can go to heaven, without dragging our sins in. We'll be VERY MUCH ALIVE. And then later, Jesus said he will resurrect our bodies from the grave and transform them into spiritual bodies and then it will join our spirit in heaven on Resurrection Day. But we'll know our friends, relatives, and loved ones up there, unless they neglected to let Jesus forgive their sins. If any neglect that, they won't be able to drag their sins in with them. If we're in heaven, for example, and any didn't make it because they neglected to prepare, we'll not know it. There's no pain, sorrow, sadness, diseases or anything like that in heaven. Here's an example of how to ask Jesus for forgiveness. It's very simple.

@Mistakesmakeus Why do you equate having a soul to sinning? Or to free will? If someone's will is to not sin then they have demonstrated that they have the free will to desire not to sin..

And yeah God foreknows where you and i will end up in eternity..
