A Living Cell Under An Electron Microscope [Spirituality & Religion]

Don't tell me that Yahweh doesn't live. If one of those codes becomes out of order, the cell will die. Each of the codes in DNA and RNA are distinct which makes cats look and act like cats, dogs who look like dogs and act like dogs, horses become horses, and cows become cows, etc, etc, etc.

So you’re saying if the current situation were changed, it would no longer be the current situation.

Wow, that’s really trivial

Do you find some sort of deep meaning in that?

Seriously?

@newjaninev2
So you’re saying if the current situation were changed, it would no longer be the current situation.
No, what I'm saying is that if one of those codes in the DNA or RNA is missing, the the cell wouldn't function and would die.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 So if the DNA is unchanged then the situation is unchanged.

If the DNA is changed, then the situation is changed.

So what?

It’s a trivial observation, and applies to everything.

Hardly a startling insight! 😂

@newjaninev2
So if the DNA is unchanged then the situation is unchanged.
Very good.
So what?
You can see for yourself that the cell designed by the great Designer and just popped in out of thin air as you suppose.
Hardly a startling insight!
Are you making fun of science?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63
out of thin air as you suppose
That’s not what the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection says.

Why would you think that?

It is, however, the claim made by creationists... that everything was poofed into existence by magic.
Are you making fun of science?
Mo, I’m making fun of your trivial statement that if things were not the same as they are, then they would be different

Are they you god now? Can they think for themselves? Do they have an ounce of intelligence?
Why would you think that?
Evolution by natural selection can't do anything.
Mo, I’m making fun of your trivial statement that if things were not the same as they are, then they would be different
Learn to spell. You're making fun of science showing the grand design by the Great Designer.

@GodSpeed63 None of your responses make any sense

(not to mention that your final response begs the question)
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2
None of your responses make any sense
They should, you've demonstrated that you believe in evolution by natural selection. Are you telling me now that they don't make sense to you?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 I don’t ‘believe’ in Evolution by Natural Selection.

I accept that the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection is a complete, coherent, and consistent, explanation of the available evidence.

What does that have to do with your trivial claim that if the current situation were changed, it would no longer be the current situation?

Keep running...

@newjaninev2
I don’t ‘believe’ in Evolution by Natural Selection. I accept that the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection is a complete, coherent, and consistent, explanation of the available evidence.
You're contradicting yourself here. Either you believe evolution by natural selection or you don't. Which is it?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 I accept that the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection is a complete, coherent, and consistent, explanation of the available evidence.

It’s not a religion. It’s not based on unsupported claims. It’s not based on wishful thinking. it’s not based on fear and abject ignorance.

It’s based on demonstrable evidence. The evidence is there whether or not you believe in it.

I understand that frightens you. I understand you are desperate to make it appear that the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection requires pretence, stagnation, and a closed mind... but it’s not a religion.

and now, I believe I’ll have a nice cup of Earl Grey.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2
It’s not a religion.
It doesn't have to be a religion in order for you to believe in it. In this case, however, it can be a religion by the way you defend it so hard even though it's been a lie from the very beginning.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 defend it from what? You’ve offered absolutely nothing to threaten it. Ironically, I’m the one who spends a considerable amount of time trying to overturn the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2
defend it from what?
The Truth of God.

A myth isn't much of a threat to a well tested scientific Theory supported by heaps of evidence. Try again GodSpeed63
