Sorry but it is YOUR interpretation that is wrong. It's a great shame that you're blind to that simple fact. :(
Your interpretation is MISTAKEN.

It's something that you need to have God in the person of Satan in order to fit your belief that He doesn't live. Girl, you are one confused person.

No it is correct,
No, you're misinterpreting it to fit your preconceived ideas.

@GodSpeed63 LMAO! Our respective posts prove otherwise. Keep trying, you need the practice.

@SpiritualMan
Actually I looked it up
So did I, that's how I know you're wrong.

I doubt that. Try again again, Sharon, maybe you'll get it right one of these days.

it also means calamity. To call God morally evil because He causes calamity is to not understand that when He carries out judgments He is being JUST.
As I said, you're misinterpreting it to fit your prejudices. Try reading it with an open mind instead.

I doubt that.
Of course you do, you doubt everything that proves you wrong. Keep trying, one day you might get it right but I expect it will be a long time coming.

some Hebrew words have more than one meaning,
I know, and you're just arbitrarily picking the one that best fits your beliefs.

KJV - I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
ESV - I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the LORD, who does all these things.
NLT - I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the LORD, am the one who does these things.
Just three versions, there are plenty more so you can pick whichever best suits your prejudices.
Also there's 1 Samuel 16:14.
KJV - But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.
ESV - Now the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a harmful spirit from the LORD tormented him.
NLT - Now the Spirit of the LORD had left Saul, and the LORD sent a tormenting spirit that filled him with depression and fear.
That god thing is really quite nasty.

The fact is, if it were real, that god is a very nasty piece of work that would deserve our contempt, not our praise. Other gods are far more benevolent.
Ultimately Saul brought that affliction on himself
Yes, blame the victim. :(The fact is, if it were real, that god is a very nasty piece of work that would deserve our contempt, not our praise. Other gods are far more benevolent.
