Science Still Confirms The Word of God [Spirituality & Religion]

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:1-5

@DocSavage people like you are just trolling here and if they wanted answers they would read the Bible for themselves. You don't want truth, so why should we put ourselves out there and be ridiculed anyway.
DocSavage · M
Actually I was looking for an honest debate on evolution. The subject of the video. Evolution is not in the bible, and has nothing to do with Jesus. Godspeed63 put it up to bait people, then says prove it. Determined to deny any statement, in the name of jesus.
Typical creationist bullshit. He uses religion to validate his junk science, and his junk science to validate his religious claims.
You claim I don’t want truth, but has he even once posted any honest opinion, feedback, or evidence ? No. He just says “jesus makes it and me right” Atheist don’t care about your god, or jesus . We care about truth, and hate to see creationist spreading misinformation .
I know a few Christian scientists, and they accept evolution, and even teach it. Religion and science are not the same, and don’t mix.
Godspeed63, brought Jesus into the subject. And then made it the subject. Bad move. Atheist have no fear of blasphemy, and won’t hesitate to use it when it’s use to dismiss the irrelevant.
And for the record. Many Atheist are former Christians. We’ve read the bible, we understand it, and still reject it. That happens. Not everyone believes. Learn to accept that before judging them.

@DocSavage I don't believe you want truth nor want to know God enough to study the Bible nor ever did.

@Carazaa
Obviously you didn’t understand . My passion is for the truth. But religion isn’t about truth anymore is it ? In Kentucky, there is a life size copy of Noah’s Ark. on the doorway, is a sign telling people, if you doubt the story of Noah, then you have to accept that the entire bible is a lie. The story of Noah is complete bullshit. A fable, nothing more. It’s physically impossible for it to have happened. It’s against the laws of physics, it is incompatible with history, and every known science. You say you studied the bible. Do you believe the flood happened ? Christians are still trying to get creationism into schools, teaching it as actual fact, and denying real science. When the bible is used to promote ignorance and hatred, it is no longer worth the paper it’s printed on. The human race has accomplished some great things in the last couple of centuries. You don’t realize how good you have it. It can become even greater, as long as we don’t follow the path back into the dark ages.

One other point. If you ran into a devout Muslim, who had no reason to believe in the Bible. Would you consider his truth to be as important and valid as you own ?

@DocSavage Every word of the Bible is truth, straight from God. Have a good day! I'll be happy to discuss the Bible in 20 years if you know more about it!bye!

Again, what makes you think I have any interest in it ? I told you I came to this post originally to talk about evolution. I love the science, and enjoy debunking the misrepresenting creationist. There is nothing in the bible regarding evolution, so that is pointless, The original story of Adam and Eve, involves the Goddess Ishtar, and has nothing to do with Christianity. So again, no interest. Odin made the first humans out of trees. He created the heavens and the earth, from the dismembered corpse of a huge frost giant. He was really into recycling. People were so impressed , they named the days of the week for him and his family. So what do you expect me to find rereading the bible ?
Did you know in the Greek version of the flood story, the world was repopulated by throwing stones. Humans sprang up from them when they hit the ground.so there was no mass engagement of incest involved. Unlike with Noah. That story predates the Bible by at least three hundred years. The flood is also mention in Gilgamesh, it also involve Ishtar.. I don’t envy you for spending so many years reading the Bible, I think it’s a great pity if it’s the only thing you read in all that time. Personally, I prefer Ray Bradbury, and Agatha Christie.

@DocSavage Ofcourse Jesus will most likely be here soon so we don't have a lot of time left, except repent and look up because our redemption draws nigh.🙏
DocSavage · M
@Carazaa
Repent for what ?
DocSavage · M
@Carazaa
Do I seem worried to you ?
Carazaa · F
@DocSavage All your sins.

@Carazaa
I don’t have any. I don’t believe in the system.

8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8.

@GodSpeed63

So is it still considered a sin for a woman to not wear a hat to church on Sunday?

@spjennifer
So is it still considered a sin for a woman to not wear a hat to church on Sunday?
Where did you get that idea from?
DocSavage · M
@GodSpeed63
Lying for Jesus is still a lie.
Blasphemy is a victimless crime.
