@Baremine Darwin was very much a man of his times. Not a terribly bright man but bright enough to expand on other people's work enough to have a harebrained theory named after him. When you see what i going on in a cell then realize what Darwin thought a cell was his theory becomes a sad joke that too many people have not figured out yet. Of course the real reason behind it is those who believe it believe it for religious reasons not scientific ones. Their religion is atheism and their genesis story is Darwin. Silly religion that it is way too many people believe in it.

Darwin is credited with explaining natural selection. The method in which evolution works.
Atheism is not a religion. The fact that evolution is true, and it works, in no way proves or disproves the existence of a god. Which is why even the church acknowledges it , publicly. Even creationist like Ken Ham admit it exist, which is why we have house cats for pets, instead of lions.,and beagles instead of wolves.

Referring to it as that only shows your ignorance and bigotry. You obviously seem to believe that evolution has some anti-Christian agenda. That’s it’s true purpose is to somehow spite you, rather than explore the natural world around us. The statement : “science doesn’t give a shit what you believe” is true. We don’t give a shit. But that doesn’t give you the right to spread misinformation. Some people do care about the truth. Not the mythology.

Another one. Have you got anything better than a few old sayings ? There are plenty of Atheist in fox holes. God didn’t life a finger to save the Christian soldiers either .So you don’t know one way or the other.
Darwinism is not a religion. Several scientists studied evolution. Darwin figured out how the process worked. That’s why the theory is named after him. It has no religious value to it. It doesn’t promise an afterlife, it doesn’t judge good deeds or sin, and offers no rewards if you believe in it. It just describes the process.
Lucifer is a myth. His fall from Heaven is based on a fairytale about the planet Venus as it moves across the sky. Nothing to do with god and angels.
As for COVID 19. That is a not a sign from god. It’s a virus. They turn up from time to time. So of them are troublesome. If god were behind them. He could have set of the Spanish flu epidemic before 1914, and prevented the First World War.
The moral of this story is this. Religion has it’s place. There is a separation between church and state for a reason. When truth and faith come into conflict, each should stay in it’s place. You can believe anything on faith, but that won’t make it the truth.

Nope. But neither has Yahweh. One thing creationist always try to avoid is the fact, that if god created us. Someone must have created god too. Something can’t come from nothing applies to him too. Was he the product of someone’s organic chemistry ?
Did he just pop into existence one day out of the blue ? By Magic ?
I am at least willing to listen to both sides of the argument first. I have no faith to defend and I’ve seen first hand the benefits of education. They’re worth fighting for.
You’re so sure that the other scientists have some hidden agenda, what if it’s just to stop the spread of misinformation ? What if it’s not about god ?

@DocSavage So you have no concept of ETERNAL. Too Funny, You are too limited in your understanding and it shows. Here is a hint. Time is a Creation and as such the Creator is not bound by it. Your faith in accidents is just too much for you to overcome. Very strange. I often say that I don't have enough faith to be an atheist. Now those guys have unshakable faith. ZERO evidence but Faith beyond measure. It is almost like they can't question their faith because if they did they would lose their faith. I know it happened to me. Once I realized how impossible abiogenesis is the rest fell apart on me and I could no longer be an atheist. Simply impossible for me to remain in that busted nonsense. Couldn't start therefore didn't happen. But it did happen so my theory on how it started was wrong. Time to find a better explanation. When the natural is not sufficient it is time to consider the Supernatural. When the Supernatural (beyond natural) is considered the filtration process begins. Of all the Supernatural genesis stories the most plausible is the Jewish Christian Genesis story. A Self Aware BEING who calls Himself I AM created out of Himself bringing order out of chaos all that we see and know. In so doing He left evidence of his creative power the beginnings of which we are only recently beginning to see. The immense complexity in both form and function of a single cell is simply beyond anything we can copy in our most sophisticated labs. Our best efforts are little more than smoking piles of ash in comparison. We don't even know what life is. Is it energy or is is chemical reaction or is it something completely different. WE DON'T KNOW. What I do find interesting is the now speculation by atheist astrophysicists speculating that the universe is 'alive'. Interesting concept. They are still trying to avoid the obvious that there IS a Being named YAHWEH who created all that we see and know.
