Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom:

Are you seeking wisdom or are you a FOOL

@Baremine
Are you seeking wisdom or are you a FOOL
Are you asking me or are you asking them?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GodSpeed63 asking them. Those that don't seek after God are considered fools.

@Baremine
Those that don't seek after God are considered fools.
It's the same every time. Absent any logical arguments, christians are invariably reduced to resorting to childish insults. Quite pathetic really.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Sharon that was not a childish insult. It was what God said.
Baremine · 70-79, C
1Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

That is at the basis of this whole post.

@Baremine
that was not a childish insult. It was what God said.
Then your god is being childish and you even more so for following it.
bystander · 70-79, M
@Baremine Saved from what?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@bystander death. The wages of sin. Like a get out of jail free card.
Sharon · F
@Baremine That's been proven wrong time and time again by the millions of christians who have died. Perhaps they weren't "true christians". 🤣

Interesting question. Are you seeking wisdom and denying truth because you’re afraid of upsetting your thug god ? Creationist call other people closed minded, saying that we’re not open to the miracles of the lord. Yet, they’re so desperate and afraid of their god, they can’t see the natural order, in a natural world. They need the super natural to justify their faith, and are disappointed when they can’t find it.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@DocSavage the natural order in the world points to Almighty God. You have to turn the fossil record upside down to prove Darwinism.
DocSavage · M
@Baremine
The only connection between gods and fossils I’ve heard of. Is a find of dinosaur bones in Greece, that are believed to have inspired many of the Ancient Greek myths.
Your mistake is you think it’s about god. Science doesn’t view the supernatural. God is not part of the equation.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@DocSavage what to do with Jesus Christ is the only question. Science leaves a lot to the imagination.
Sharon · F
@Baremine
what to do with Jesus Christ is the only question
Throw that myth in the bin along the the rest of that rubbish. Simple really.
DocSavage · M
@Baremine
You can do what ever you want with him., take him, I don’t want him.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@DocSavage only a fool won't seek the truth. You need to stop before it is to late. God makes sense. No God does not.
Sharon · F
@Baremine
only a fool won't seek the truth.
So you admit to being a fool then. Well done, you're making progress.
@Baremine
God makes sense.
Which god? I like Odin myself.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@NortiusMaximus you watch to much Lord of the Rings. Harry Potter isn't any better.
@Baremine You read too much bible rubbish.

I've never watch Lord of the Rings, nor read the book. I haven't read any Harry Potter books either and only seen one Harry Potter film.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Baremine Try to prove something without the use of the Bible. If it is indeed truth, it should be able to be proved outside of scripture.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@JimboSaturn nature itself defends the Bible and creation. It is to complicated to have just happened.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Baremine On the contrary. Science has proved it happened and has the evidence to support it.
Sharon · F
@Baremine
It is to complicated to have just happened.
So where did the even more complcated "god" come from and why can't we simply apply the same explanation to the universe as a whole?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Sharon God has no beginning or end. The universe was created. You are a created being blinded by man's sin nature. We can't fully understand God with our limited knowledge.
