I think there is a lot of evidence the Bible is right.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@Carazaa I'd like to see that evidence.
@Carazaa yup. Evidence. Such as two creation stories. Breeding weak sheep by having them mate in front of some type of bushes. Staffs turning into snakes. Snakes and donkeys that can talk and nobody questions why. Lots of evidence.
Carazaa · F
@froggtongue I think you need to watch that video!😂

@Bushranger
I'd like to see that evidence.
You already did, several times.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 creationist videos that misrepresent the work of actual scientists is not evidence.

You have no actual scientists, Bushranger. Pretending that evolution is factual is not real science.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 You have absolutely no understanding of science or logic. Just crawl back under your bridge.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Bushranger
You have absolutely no understanding of science or logic.
I don't crawl under bridges like you do, Bushranger. I have an understanding what true science and what true logic is. I have the Truth of God dwelling in me just like He can with you, if you'd let Him.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63
I have an understanding what true science and what true logic is. I have the Truth of God dwelling in me just like He can with you, if you'd let Him.
And replace curiosity with blind acceptance? To reduce logic to a simple "it's true because the bible says so"?

No thanks, that way lies mental stagnation.

It's interesting that you will respond to this, but you won't accept that you confused astrology for astronomy. That's why you need to crawl back under your bridge.
@Bushranger arguing with stubborn people is fun. You know he won't change his mind.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@froggtongue Yep, but it's fun pointing out his poor understanding of reality.
Carazaa · F
@Bushranger Godspeed refuses to engage in stupid no end debates because he is smart!
Carazaa · F
@Carazaa I think I need to heart my own comment 😂

Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind, so the blind are those who will not see the Truth of His Word. It's illogical to believe that God's Word isn't true.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@Carazaa @GodSpeed63 Well, I guess I've been put in my place then, LOL.
Carazaa · F
@froggtongue There are not 2 creation stories. God summarizes and then he goes into a detail about an event once, usually twice . This is another way to understand better. That is how he works. So now you know!🙂

@Zeusdelight ·Yes many scientists are deceived too, or just agree. You get fired, lose funding, or wont be invited to the Nobel fest if you are not agreeing with majority of other scientists on the data. Science is a major industry. People are sometimes greedy!

@Carazaa
Yes many scientists are deceived too, or just agree. You get fired, lose funding, or wont be invited to the Nobel fest if you are not agreeing with majority of other scientists on the data.
If the majority of scientists, who've never been to Arizona, insist that it is scientifically impossible for the Grand Canyon to be in Northwestern Arizona, and a minority of scientists insist that it is there because they've been there and saw it, who are you going to believe?
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 The Grand Canyon can be demonstrated to exist. Any scientists who would deny physical evidence is not practising actual science. Similarly, if actual science says the biblical flood didn't happen, but some people still believe it did even though there is no evidence for it, who should you believe?
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@Carazaa Including religious people, who think the value of their beliefs is more important than the God they believe in.
Carazaa · F
@Zeusdelight I don't know what you mean by that?
Carazaa · F
@GodSpeed63 I am very analytical and am not easily fooled. I would believe the people who have been there but I would probably go myself before I start declaring it as fact, yep. I need to see it for myself. Evidence! I was a weak christian for 15 years, but now I have no doubt that God inspired the Bible. The more you read the Bible the more you know it is impossible that it is not inspired wih over a thousand exact prophesies coming true especially Israels prophesies, and all the artifacts that validates it, and all the witnesses. Just foolishness to ignore! But most of all when you're changed and walk with God yourself then you know.🙂
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@Carazaa Just to be clear, I wasn't talking about you in my comments.

But I was referring to people who see the Bible as a tool to judge others and assume that anyone who doesn't believe things the way they believe them is outside of God's Love.

No-one is outside of God's Love unless they specifically choose to be. God is the only Being who can say to a person whether they are saved or not. It is God's salvation to judge and give and God who knows people's hearts. No human does or is in a position to know another's heart.

We may see peripheral actions or hear some small percentage of their words, but we do not know their hearts.

My point being that majority doesn't always = being right.

That's not what the Word of God teaches. Jesus taught that we should never be judgemental toward one another or anyone being outside of God's love. God, however, is the righteous judge and will judge everyone according to His righteous judgement.
