Why?

Edit: Let's say you were asking for directions and one pointed one way and the other pointed the other way.

I'd believe them both.
They have such different lives that their truth and perspectives would be polar opposites.

@TheGoodGuy Sigh. I would now have to evaluate why each one of these people believes what they do. Then I go with what my gut resonates with the most.
Sorry, not such a black and white answer for me...to me their statuses are irrelevant.
