READ THIS: Always question yourself. [I Seek Spiritual Growth]

You are not the same person as you were just 19 seconds ago. You are constantly in the state of change, and so is the world. This also applies to other people. If they also are not the same people as they were a mere 19 seconds ago, then they certainly would not be the same as they were 3, 7, 10 years ago.

Whatever it is you’re holding onto from the past is what’s holding you back from your own personal and spiritual growth. Holding onto things from the past, whether it be about yourself or someone else, plasters your feet in one spot, and you end up living in the past. When you live in the past, you resist the inevitable change. You resist change within yourself, and in turn, others. Everything will remain the same in your skewed perspective because you are justifying it with something that is no longer reality.
The past is over, it is not real. Do not let the past block your journey of spiritual growth.

When you think of something you used to adore, that in the end turned sour, does the sour ending ruin your fond memories of its peak? No, if anything it supplements it and heightens the feeling of joy from it all. If you were to erase the sour ending by simply forgetting, the peak would no longer feel like one at all. This serves as an example of “negative” change being just as crucial as the “positive”.
Remember all the changes, positive and negative; they’re all just as relevant as one another to your life. One day you will be so whole, that you will no longer have the capacity in your heart to hold grudges against the past.

The modern toxic positivity movement fails to highlight the importance of acknowledging and accepting the negative. But the balance of the dark and light have always been so important.
How did we get here, when the concept of Yin and Yang has long existed?

Years from now you want to look at yourself and be proud. Proud of yourself, life, career, whatever it may be; but the most important of all is growth.

It’s time to let go of the past. Move on. Learn from it all. Open your heart to happiness. Allow yourself to grow. Forgive the past and it’s people, but certainly don’t forget, for it is crucial in the journey of growth.

“Those who do not move, do not notice their chains”. - Rosa Luxemburg

You are one smart cookie! It's nice to see someone focused on things that matter more than all the nonsense society wants us to focus on.

@uncleshawn If anyone is talking about me behind my back then I don’t care to know. I doubt they’ve said anything anyway. I don’t need immature comments like yours on my posts. Thanks, have a good day.
