I'm just there.
In any way needed.
But sometimes just being around a hurting person helps them.
@SW-User In a Jewish funeral, it's called "Sitting Shiva", just "being there" without feeling that we need to be entertained or entertained. Just a heart with ears. Just being there...you are SO right.

The shiva period lasts for seven days following the burial.
