Is Love Evil? [Spirituality & Religion]

God is Love, but the skeptics, who don’t believe that He’s real see Him as an evil God who causes suffering and all kinds of disasters in this fallen world of ours. How can a being, who’s supposed to be not real, cause so much suffering? Is this the only reason why they don’t believe in God? I believe that they have to think this way in order that they can keep their disbelief in Him for if they stated thinking that He is all good, they would have no excuse to keep their disbelief in Him.
4Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not [b]puffed up; 5does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, [c]thinks no evil; 6does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10But when that which is [d]perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
