Is Love Evil? [Spirituality & Religion]

God is Love, but the skeptics, who don’t believe that He’s real see Him as an evil God who causes suffering and all kinds of disasters in this fallen world of ours. How can a being, who’s supposed to be not real, cause so much suffering? Is this the only reason why they don’t believe in God? I believe that they have to think this way in order that they can keep their disbelief in Him for if they stated thinking that He is all good, they would have no excuse to keep their disbelief in Him.
4Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not [b]puffed up; 5does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, [c]thinks no evil; 6does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10But when that which is [d]perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

I believe in God but still have doubts when bad things happen and why can't he stop them?

21Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2Then I, [a]John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said [b]to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
Revelation 21:1-5

This is God's promise to those who are in Christ. This is why we're here, to spread the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit. God is waiting on making the new earth for the sake of those who are lost to find their way to Him. God cannot interfere with man's free will even unto his own destruction. That is love that surpasses all understanding.

@Emosaur I hate being Alabamian I wish I was dead so I can die and come back as a Tennessean. If reincarnation isnt real then there's no hope and I rather be dead than being Alabamian.
