So your god thing wants an echo chamber, huh? It wants sycophants who obey without dissent.

The Americans just got rid of one of those, and here you are trying to peddle another one.

No sale
@newjaninev2
Only you can insult about something you know nothing about.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock Insult? It’s a description that follows quite naturally and unavoidably from what was posted.

If you feel that describing the conclusions arrived at when addressing someone else’s fantasy creation is an insult then perhaps that person needs to be more circumspect about the claims they make around that fantasy creation
@newjaninev2
Without Faith you have absolutely nothing.
Carazaa · F
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock Faith is merely pretending to know something that you do not, in fact, know.

Why would anyone choose a life of pretence and self-deception?
@newjaninev2
You really go out on a limb to speak on nothing you know about but why should that be any different than your theatrical science stories.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Carazaa Why would anyone give credence to your particular book simply because it says they should? Where is its justification for the claims it makes?

Your book cannot claim authority for itself simply because it claims authority for itself. A collection of myths, threats, and homilies, should not be allowed to replace reasoned, rational, free-thought and engagement with reality.

Apparently, your god thing wants sycophants who obey without dissent. If it existed it would be nothing more than a bully who blusters and threatens and has shown itself capable of enormous violence when it is challenged.

Why would anyone chose to grovel at the feet of such an abomination? Why would anyone choose to live in abject ignorance and constant fear?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock The science questions you were unable to answer? The science questions that quickly became too specific for you, and from which you then fled?

More pretence from you, I see.
@newjaninev2
Why do you submit your understanding to big bang and evolution. They are bigger leaps of phenomenon that wasn’t observed.
Incredibly disrespectful of others beliefs. Where did you ever learn that?
@newjaninev2
I tolerate you.
I don’t answer your questions because they are so unfounded and old. When is the last time you cracked a science book? Einstein and hawking are considered obsolete.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock If science leaves no room for your pretence, then so much the worse for your pretence... and your position will not be rescued by then adding pretence about science.

Your inability to answer specifics about the Big Bang was matched only your woeful lack of comprehension about evolution.

Reality can be something of a shock to those who base their lives on pretence, and I understand how that might be, so I make allowances for you... but running away is not the way you should handle your distress and confusion.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock
considered obsolete
By whom? (this is where the vague allusions begin)
@newjaninev2
You are on a post about the Bible. If you have something to contribute, fine but I have as of yet to see you contribute anything intelligent.

This might not be your subject.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock Your lack of understanding is reflected in your claim... individuals and their work are separated in science. Personalities have no authority, and only their work can be deemed relevant.

Penrose? Hawking? Darwin? Who cares?

The science, not the scientist.

Of course, this is in sharp contrast to grovelling at the feet of some or other god, and accepting without question whatever it says, and never being able to amend anything it asserts.

What a horrible way to live... abject servitude and eternal ignorance.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock I am on a public post about a specific claim made by Carazaa.

Was the post made simply to form an echo chamber of sycophantic agreement... to merely bolster the pretence that lies at its core?

If so, the author should admit that she is here to proselytise nd preach and not to engage in free and frank discussion.
Carazaa · F
@newjaninev2
Why would anyone trust in the Bible? Don't you think all people studying it their whole lives know it is reliable? Where is the justification for the claims? Don't you think the more we study the prophesies the more we realize it is impossible for man to come up with this book without Gods help and inspiration. Why? All the Prophesies come true!

"When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. 16To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” 17His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.”

The Jews then responded to him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?”

Jesus answered them, “[c=#BF0000]Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
[/c]
They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” 21But the temple he had spoken of was his body. 22After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken." John 2

@newjaninev2
Open your heart.
When are you going to learn that science is made of human scientists that will forward their models as truth and yet ignore data to serve their own purposes. You know how pathetic I find Sir Roger.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock As always you ry to talk about scientists rather than science.

Long on innuendo and short on specifics

Science cares not one whit for personalities.

The results matter, and they are not offered as truth, but instead offered up for review and examination and refutation. Nothing is ever proven is science... everything is provisional, and there are no authorities.

You may have chosen to bow before someone’s self-assumed authority to dictate truth to you, but that is not the way of science.
@newjaninev2
I see you coming on a post about my God and pretending you know truth. Science has made up some ridiculous stories including one you push on others called evolution. This fiction is taught in schools and is pretentious to act like a science.
We speak Jesus as Savior here.
All you need to do is receive the Word. One that can reveal to you God’s truth.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock
pretending you know truth
followed by
reveal to you God’s truth
😂
@newjaninev2
You just expose how sad it is to be spiritually bankrupt.
I hope your eyes open to the reality around you.
Carazaa · F
@Aliveshock The entire world is spiritually dead. But one person can do a lot so thank you so much for your testimony!💞🙏
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock Still running away, I see.

Well, at least your duplicitous claims have ceased
Carazaa · F
@newjaninev2 People sleep and work too besides responding here on SW, silly 🙂.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Carazaa Good - I look forward to discussing the new topic he raised... evolution

He spent a great deal of time trying not to talk about th Big Bang, so I imagine he’ll spend even more time trying not to talk about evolution.

As always, his avoidance will consist of vague allusions and personal insults. When it becomes too specific (as happened with the Big Bang), he’ll simply run away again.
