Lets be real. The conversion of kings was in nearly all cases political from the original conversion to Catholicism and later to Lutheranism. We are talking about a period where opposing the church was a good way to lose your kingdom and end up sadistically murdered. Conversion by coersion or violence is not exactly impressive.

@Carazaa Pretty speeches by politicians (even ones by birthright) mean nothing. And it was rarely a peaceful or pleasant affair for the common folk. Heck even the term heathen comes from the distain and dehumanizing of those who refused to join the King's new religion.
