The Delusion of Atheism [Spirituality & Religion]

The main delusion of atheism is that its followers believe that it exists.

They are deluded into believing that no gods exist, yet they have their own gods that they worship and put their faith in.

They can't understand that there is only one true God, Yahweh, who has revealed Himself to mankind through His Spirit and through His Word, yet they try their darnedest to discredit Him and His Word instead of taking time to understand Him and His Word.

They keep claiming they have evidence for their type of science that evolution happened instead of God, Yahweh, creating the heavens and the earth but fail to produce evidence so far. They, however, have shown evidence that intelligent design happened instead but still claim it's evolution.

They mock, ridicule, and insult hoping that these actions will set them above those who believe, on the contrary, the opposite happens and their mocking, ridiculing, and insults fall back on them. Plus, these actions prove that they have no such evidence to support their claims in that evolution happened or that God, Yahweh, doesn't live.

the word "believing" is not used correctly when used with atheism. atheists know there is no god.. or in case of agnostic atheists doubt there is a god.

its the same with dragons or trolls... some people believe they exist. but you wont find anyone that says "i dont believe in fairies" people know there are no fairies.
@Strawberrry Actually if you claim to know there is not god it is exactly what it is, belief. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Again claiming to know is also beyond what science can prove so it is ultimately belief in both cases.

At least agnostics are intellectually honest in this scenario.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow you are using that quote completely wrong. it fits when you talk about muon for which there is strong indication that they exist but we have no veritable proof for them yet.

it doesnt apply to completely made up nonsense with no indication of truth at all.
@Strawberrry Again, that is your opinion. That is beyond what is supported by the facts too. So you are making just as many flawed assumptions in the other direction.

And I am responding to your own words. I am not taking anything out of context here.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow you are just deflecting and avoiding to make any point at all.

i think someone else mentioned hitches razor already which is a very basic concept. there is nothing.. nothing at all to indicate the existence of a divine being. its just making a statement without any support ever and then complaining that people arent arguing about it, while you have nothing at all in the first place.

any claim has to be supported by anything at all to be valid and taken into discussion or you can just pass it off as bullshit.

you should be smart enoguh to recognize that
@Strawberrry Umm no. That would be you projecting.

Again, absence of evidence is not proof of absence. This is a very basic principle.

Suggesting otherwise is opinion not science.
any claim has to be supported by anything at all to be valid and taken into discussion or you can just pass it off as bullshit.
I agree. Clearly you need to follow your own advice on that one.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow you are repeating yourself... and not contributing anything at all. i am sorry but if you cant see that i cant help it.

you must make a statement and provide something to support that statement. you dont do that... so you not making any statement at all just wild dismissable claims
@Strawberrry
you must make a statement and provide something to support that statement. you dont do that... so you not making any statement at all just wild dismissable claims
You don't so I guess it is different standards of proof depending on your position.

Good job trying to deflect.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow lol.. this is getting ridiculous. you are typing words but you not making any point.

give us anything so you dont look like a complete fool
@Strawberrry And now you are just throwing insults because you don't like what I have to say.

I agree, this is getting quite ridiculous.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow yeah... this is really hillarious. comeon.. make any statement and support it about the topic instead of just trying to make this a discusion about the discussion and words...

i know you wont.. because you cant..
@Strawberrry Again, you just refuse to consider any difference of opinion.

And you just make excuses and throw insults when you make statements you can't support so why should I was my time.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow i insult you because you deserve it... and you really shouldnt waste your time with something that is way over your head.

as soon as you make a proper case for your opinion i will gladly consider it
@Strawberrry And more insults. Sadly I am not surprised.

Again, you first. I am not the one making statements that are obviously a fallacy.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow eah you make no statements at all... because you have nothing at all. it would be so easy to proof me wrong with my claim that you have nothing at all... just gimme anything at all. but nope... you apparently cant and every further post you do only adds to your complete fail
@Strawberrry I have proven you wrong. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. You want to pretend it is the same thing because it fits your beliefs. It actually proves my original point too that some that call themselves atheists make huge leaps beyond the evidence to fit a narrative.

At least agnostics are intellectually honest about it.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow you are moving in a circle again cause oyu have nothing at all.

you fail to even stay on topic but as soon as you are stuck again you are back to square one. i could have a robot pointing that out to you so simple is this.
@Strawberrry More like you insist on ignoring anything that doesn't confirm your beliefs.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow and we are moving again... you repeating yourself. dont you get tired of this ? just make any viable statement at all.
@Strawberrry Thanks for proving my point. Have fun.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow i am just gonna copy and past what i wrote earlier from now on since you add nothing at all anyway
atheists know there is no god..
To know the is no God one must have irrefutable proof that there is no God..

Without irrefutable proof the position is a belief..

@Strawberrry
atheists know there is no god.
How do they know? Where's the evidence to support their belief?
@GodSpeed63 are you trying to go all over this again. the burden of proof is always on the one who claims xy exists... that applies to gods.. fairies... ghosts... you cant proof nonexistance
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Strawberrry
the burden of proof is always on the one who claims xy exists..
If we must. Yahweh has already proven Himself to mankind the evidence of His work is all around us. The burden of proof is on you to show that He doesn't live and His Word isn't true.

@GodSpeed63 I read an interesting snippet written by a former atheist who has a Phd in Astro physics who said that her conversion was in large part because Only Yahweh could explain the existence of the universe and nothing in the universe could explain away Yahweh. There truly is only one explanation that meets all the criteria. His Name is YAHWEH.
