The Delusion of Atheism [Spirituality & Religion]

The main delusion of atheism is that its followers believe that it exists.

They are deluded into believing that no gods exist, yet they have their own gods that they worship and put their faith in.

They can't understand that there is only one true God, Yahweh, who has revealed Himself to mankind through His Spirit and through His Word, yet they try their darnedest to discredit Him and His Word instead of taking time to understand Him and His Word.

They keep claiming they have evidence for their type of science that evolution happened instead of God, Yahweh, creating the heavens and the earth but fail to produce evidence so far. They, however, have shown evidence that intelligent design happened instead but still claim it's evolution.

They mock, ridicule, and insult hoping that these actions will set them above those who believe, on the contrary, the opposite happens and their mocking, ridiculing, and insults fall back on them. Plus, these actions prove that they have no such evidence to support their claims in that evolution happened or that God, Yahweh, doesn't live.

prove to me that odin doesnt exist...
Adstar · 56-60, M
@NoodleDoodle Why would we want to prove that?
NoodleDoodle · 22-25, F
@Adstar well he clearly claims that this weird yahwe god is the only real god. so clearly he doesnt acknowledge the fact that odin is the allfather of all.
which makes the restof his ramblings nonsense.

@Adstar If you want to prove the positive, you must also prove the negative.

@NoodleDoodle If not being able to prove the non-existence of something proves it exists, then he must believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster lives as he hasn't been able to prove It doesn't.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Graylight I know.. But i am wondering why someone is challenging Christians to prove the non-existence of odin.. Why would a Christian even want or be motivated to prove the non-existence of odin.. If odin exists to us Christians he is a fallen angel / demonic spirit.. odin's existence or non existence has no effect on our belief in the God of Abraham..

Those who need to prove the non-eixstence of Someone to affirm their belief are atheists.. Their stance that God does not exist compels them to give solid undeniable proof that God does not exist.. Otherwise their belief that God does not exist is based on no solid irrefutable evidence and thus their belief can be said communicably to be by BLIND FAITH..

Which is exactly the charge they so often love to sling at Christians..
Adstar · 56-60, M
@NoodleDoodle Noodle you never asked us to prove that the god odin did not exist.. You simply asked us to prove that odin did not exist..

Of course we believe that there is only One God and that is the God of Abraham known by a number of acceptable titles like YAVEH..

But going back to basics whether odin exists or not makes no difference to our Belief that the God of Abraham exists.. I can accept that odin as a spirit being of some type exists and it does not effect my belief in the God of Abraham..

Atheists are the ones who must produce proof of the non existence of God for their stance that God does not exist to be a valid stance.. Otherwise they must adopt a agnostic stance and move on with that..

@Adstar no... i guess you never heard of Hitchens Razor.

"That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence"
Adstar · 56-60, M
@NoodleDoodle Yes i have heard of Hitchens razor and i dismissed it out of hand.. But people who are followers of people think that just because someone at some times came up with a quote then assuming they are an authority allows them to make an appeal to authority thinking that an appeal to authority establishes their position as being correct..

I wonder have you ever heard the term Appeal to authority ?
NoodleDoodle · 22-25, F
@Adstar i am aware of that... so you trying to tell me just because someone had the authority to write a collection of stories like the bible and call it a truth you are assuming it has to be true with no supportive evidence whatsoever ?

however at the same time there is in case of the razor its simple logic. if A cant be proven... i cant use A to prove B. unless you want to debate the very foundation of logic and math you are just trying to divert the discussion.

quoting a person that was able to put a simple truth into more eloquent words is hardly an appeal to authority.

This is how it works.. You receive a message.. You read the message and meditate on it to see if it is a true message or if it's wonky.. You do it for different messages, ideologies, philosophies, theologies whatever kind of message you receive. You assess them and come to a conclusion.. Do you believe it or do you disbelieve..

I believe the Bible is truth.. Not because someone else says that the Bible is truth ( i make no appeal to authority).. I make my own response to each message i receive.. That's how things work,, Or should work.. Some people simply accept things because they assume the one giving them the message is an authority..

As for you A and B talk..

A message from God can be proven to A by God.. But if God is not willing B will never receive the same confirmation.. So A can walk on in life 100% assured of the message of God with the personal proof God has provided them,, and B can walk on in life holding onto the security they feel in their Hitchens razor philosophy.. Both people walk on and make whatever of their limited time on this planet, in these flesh bodies, as they will..

@Adstar if you want to believe the moon is made of cheese even taking you to the moon wont convince you its not out of cheese. so yeah.. you want to believe in god thats fine. but thats your problem and your delusion. it wont change reality.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@NoodleDoodle 🙂 You either did not read my reply or you where blocked from understanding it.. Either way your cheese moon talk is irrelavent..

God is the ultimate reality.. your delusion that he does not exist will not change the reality that you will face Him on The day of judgement..
NoodleDoodle · 22-25, F
@Adstar moon cheese is the same level of nonsense that there could possibly be a god
Adstar · 56-60, M
@NoodleDoodle moon cheese cooky cutter programmed speak.. I was waiting for the flying spaghetti monster cooky cutter speak.. You atheists are mass produced copies of each other.. You can't even think up your own analogues..

So open minded you head has been filled up with other peoples sayings and you have never been able to think up your own original material.. You think you come across as edgy and intelligent.. But you come across as automated programed drones..
