Do you believe in one specific religion or are you open to others as well ? [Spirituality & Religion]

I'm very open to others . If I just have to one at times I feel it's too painful

A person cannot believe in two contradictory teachings about God and His will..

While a lot of religions have similar main themes the deeper you go into the teachings of different religions the more you will come across teachings that are diametrically opposed.. At that point a person must choose one religion and reject the other..

Believing in two different religions that support tow opposing teachings is living a lie and that is too painful..

@Adstar it's not a lie at all cause I'm a fairly honest person . I believe in Christ but I like the mindfulness meditations .
There's not wrong with that .
And usually with some people that stick to one religion have a fear of going to hell in there mind .
Leave a good life and you can choose what you want

@Adstar that's a different story . I mean non violent religious beliefs

Ok i will quote two non violent beliefs..
One Christian one islamic..

1) Christian belief.. The LORD Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of all whom would believe Him and trust in the Atonement He secured on that cross..

2) islamic belief.. Jesus did not die on the cross but was saved by allah and taken to paradise and another man, made to look like Jesus was put in his place on the cross.

So both teachings do not promote violence but both a diametrically opposed. Only one can be truth not both one Must be a Lie.. So can one embrace both these non-violent teachings from two different religions?

My point is that it does not matter if the teachings are violent of not.. Two opposing teachings cannot be both embraced at the same time..
