Why are some people so down on Catholics,they are Christians also? [Spirituality & Religion]

Not all catholics are Christian. Christian means you look to Jesus Christ as your salvation in all things. The pope looks to socialism to solve the worlds problems which is why I doubt that he is truly Christian. I don't doubt that John Paul II was Christian and that Mother Theresa was Christian but not so with Francis.

Well I know Im Christian but Im also a Catholic.As far a praying to the saints or Mary I don't do this.

I know a lot of Christian Catholics even though I am a non Catholic Christian I have nothing against the Catholic Church other than it doesn't seem to take a firm stand on the things it says is important. It says and I agree that abortion is wrong. Then it turns around and gives a Catholic burial to the man who legalized abortion in Canada.
