As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. [Spirituality & Religion]

God tells us that if we curse people he will curse us, and if we bless people, he will bless us.

In my Bible there is no Psalm 108:17. That Psalm is only 13 verses long.

@hippyjoe1955 There are 150 Psalms.

@badminton I know that. I am simply pointing out that the person posting this made a typo since there is no Psalm 108:17. The verse she quoted is Psalm 109:17. The lesson she draws from it is a bit of a stretch given the context of the verse.

@hippyjoe1955 Ok, you're right. The Psalms are all about praising the deity. Basically, they all say "God is just so great. God is totally super. God is the cat's pajamas. Boy God you are just tops" etc. etc.

@hippyjoe1955 What do you mean?

@badminton Yeah God is Super Duper great. You have to realize that our short little lives are nothing compared to eternity. Its like a drop in the bucket, even if its not always great. But if you follow the Bible and obey it, then you will have an easy peezy life compare to going your own way.

@badminton I guess you are reading different Psalms than me. Have fun with your silliness.

@Carazaa I mean that the Psalm is about an evil person and what an evil person is like. It really is not meant for the born again believer. If you see yourself doing those things then you need to ask Jesus for the grace not to do them but those actions are coming out of a base nature not a redeemed one.

@hippyjoe1955 OK, thanks! That is probably correct!
