Can Saved Christians ever lose their Salvation? [Spirituality & Religion]

No Never! Jesus says "No one can snatch them out of my hands." Here is a Calvinist Protestant vs a Catholic debate and then John McArthurs video which explains it so beautifully. Christ holds us fas

So Christians who renounce their faith are accused of never having been “truly Christian.”

@LeopoldBloom Jesus promises that he has our back and nothing can snatch us away. Jesus died for all future sins too!
@Carazaa So how do you explain the fact that many very devout Christians, including pastors, can convert to other religions or become atheists? Saying that they were "never really Christians" is insulting.

@LeopoldBloom The reason I say that is so pastors and Christians will analyze ourselves so we wont go to hell! Many people deceive themselves. Jesus says "These are those who love me, those who keep my commands" Most pastors are not truly born again now a days I am afraid. Satan is standing in the Holy place and we have to be sure we are not deceived by him.
@Carazaa Regular Christians have also left their faith. To be fair, so have people from other religions, and of course people convert to Christianity, too. But you can't say that someone who converts didn't sincerely believe at one time.

@LeopoldBloom People convert for many reasons, not just because of true faith.
@Carazaa Yes, but losing a sincere faith can be one reason.

@LeopoldBloom Many think they are born again but it is not a saving grace. Jesus says nothing can snatch us out of his hands. If it was up to me I would have lost my salvation a long time ago.
@Carazaa If they only "think" they're born again, is it possible that you are in that group? You "think" you're saved, but you really aren't? And if you're sure that you're saved, is it possible that others were also sure, until they lost their faith later?

I'm not talking about everyone who converts. Obviously, some converts were never very religious to begin with. I'm talking about people who sincerely believed, but no longer do. As long as you accept that those people exist, we have no argument.

@LeopoldBloom Of course that's possible. But I really want to be pleasing to God more than I want anything else.
But being born again is more than having faith, its walking with God!
