Back in medievil times (I assume you wont say thet god created all the graveyards in churches who's written records are on Headstones) people were born with their upper and lower teeth aligned, as a cutting and tearing edge for food. The head of King Richard the 3rd (of Shakespeare fame, so he cant be misidentified) was unearthed and HIS teeth were in perfect alignment.. Now since the invention and general use of the knife and fork, a matter of a few hundred years, the majority of people are BORN, with an overbite,. The top teeth more prominent.. I repeat.. BORN that way. This is not acquired in life. This works better for chewing when the food id deliverd to the mouth and doesnt have to be torn off a larger lump.
We continue to evolve to suit our environment..😷
